After the colossal disaster of Thugs of Hindostan, Bollwyood’s star hero Aamir Khan is now remaking 1994 classic Hollywood film Forrest Gump into Hindi as Lal Singh Chadda. It is being directed by Advaith Chandan of Secret Superstar. Aamir himself is bankrolling the project.

According to the latest sources, Kareena Kapoor Khan will be the heroine of this film. Both Aamir and Kareena earlier worked together for the films 3 Idiots and Talaash. If Kareena signs the film, it will be their third project. Currently, she is London shooting for Angrezi Medium.

She is also acting in Akshay Kumar’s Good News and Karan Johar’s Takht. Looking at her lineup, Kareena seems to be focussing on choosing versatile roles these days. Laal Singh Chadda is slated to release on Christmas 2020.

In a tragic attack in Pulwama area of Jammu and Kashmir on 14 February this year, as many as 40 CRPF personnel have lost their lives. The entire nation was in a shock and it condemned the cowardly attack of the terrorists. It has also further damaged the relations between India and Pakistan.

Meanwhile, as a tribute to the martyrs who lost their lives in the attack, Bollywood star heroes Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor have come forward and shot for a song. Titled as Tu Desh Mera, this song is dedicated to the unsung heroes of our country.

Revealing the pics from the shoot, the official Twitter handle of CRPF tweeted, “Commendable work has been done by @SrBachchan, @aamir_khan and #RanbirKapoor for the tribute song #TuDeshMera dedicated to the Martyrs of Pulwama. We would like to thank you all for showing your support towards the Martyrs.” The song is expected to release soon.

Two Megastars of the Indian film industry have bumped into each other very recently. They are none other than Megastar of South Chiranjeevi and Megastar of North Aamir Khan. The actors who were holidaying in Japan happened to meet each other at Kyoto airport.

Interestingly, Chiru revealed about his ongoing project Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy to Aamir and is said to have requested him to do a special cameo but Aamir is said to have politely declined the request saying that the movie already had a huge Star cast including Big B Amitabh and added that the movie doesn’t need him. He also wished the actor best for the movie.

It seems that he had already acquired the remake rights from the original producers, Paramount Pictures. He is now making a few changes into the script to suit the sensibilities of the Indian audience.

The official announcement is expected to be made soon by Aamir, says the sources. Forrest Gump is a 1994 drama film which had Tom Hanks as the lead. It has won the Best Picture Award at Oscars and Hanks was awarded with Best Actor for his performance in the film.

Osho is a great inspiring and spiritual personality for a lot of people. His life has been brought out as a documentary with the title The Wild Country on Netflix. It has become a big hit and Netflix made plans to bring his life as a web series now. After knowing about the plan, Bollywood top actor Aamir Khan immediately approached them and convinced them that he would be a part of the project.

Netflix initially expressed happiness but after coming on board, Aamir made a lot of changes to the locked script and insisted that they rope in Alia Bhatt for an important role in the series. He lands in Azaad’s den He says he wants to live with Azaad and become like Azaad but the next minute he bargains with British.
