After introducing the lead characters of the film, the makers of much-anticipated film ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ has finally unveiled the trailer for this film which is slated for a grand release on November 8th. The 3 minutes 38 seconds trailer video takes us back to 1795 AD where the British East India Company is the slowly showing their power over Indians.
In the countryside, the British are seen taking Indians as prisoners in hordes, gunning down people who are armed and burning the entire village. Then enters Azaad and his deputy Zafira, who fights the against the British. Well, the East India Company realised that it is not easy to find him and ropes in a con man, Aamir Khan as Firangi Mallah. He lands in Azaad’s den He says he wants to live with Azaad and become like Azaad but the next minute he bargains with British.
Aamir seems to be two-timing both sides but towards the end of the trailer, seems to switch sides. Katrina makes a stunning entry as Sooraiah.
The turbulent times when British is the dominating India and the quest for independence is the backdrop of the film. The intense dialogues by Amitabh Bachchan are beyond awesome. Overall, the trailer gave a visual feast and increased the expectations.
