Actor Vivek Oberoi was attacked by everyone on social media for posting a regressive meme on actress Aishwarya Rai. The meme featured Aishwarya with Salman, with Vivek Oberoi and with Abhishek Bachchan and Aaradhya with the taglines Opinion polls, Exit polls and Result respectively.

Everyone on Twitter lashed out on Vivek Oberoi for posting such an offensive tweet. The actor eventually deleted the tweeted this morning and apologized for what he did. “Even if one woman is offended by my reply to the meme, it calls for remedial action. Apologies tweet deleted,” he tweeted.

He added by saying, “Sometimes what appears to be funny and harmless at first glance to one, may not be so to others. I have spent the last 10 years empowering more than 2000 underprivileged girls, I can’t even think of being disrespectful to any woman ever.” On the flip side, the actor’s new film PM Narenra Modi is all set to release on May 24.

It is already known a biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi is being made with actor Vivek Oberoi as the lead. Omung Kumar of Mary Kom and Sarabjit fame is directing this project. Marathi actor Manoj Joshi is essaying the role of BJP chief Amit Shah in the movie.

Currently, the shoot of this film is taking place in some picturesque locations of Uttarakhand. But in an unfortunate incident in the shoot the other day, actor Vivek Oberoi was hurt. The actor hurt himself while shooting for a sequence in Harshil Valley. He got a cut in his leg from a pointed branch of a tree. Vivek was immediately treated by doctors and the unit members said that he is doing fine.

The unit is shooting some key events of Modi’s life in this ongoing schedule. A special set of Srinagar’s Lal Chawk was erected in Dharali Bazaar and the scene of Modi unfurling the national flag was shot there. The film is being bankrolled by Legend Global Studio.

One after the other biopics are currently going on cards. The latest to join is ‘PM Narendra Modi’. The title itself is hinting that the movie is going to be the biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The poster featured Vivek Oberoi dressed just like Modi. The uncanny resemblance between Vivek and Modi is undoubtedly grabbing the attention. Omung Kumar who previously helmed biopics like ‘Mary Kom’, ‘Sarbjit’ is wielding the megaphone for this project as well. Suresh Oberoi and Sandip Ssingh are bankrolling this project. We have to wait for a few more days to know about the release date of the film.

Malayalam star hero Prithviraj Sukumaran is coming up with an exciting project titled Lucifer. The film stars Mohanlal in the lead and the movie marks Prithvi’s directional debut. Talented actor Vivek Oberoi, who is known for social work, has once again come forward with his noble gesture and has donated 25 flats to the families of 25 CRPF martyrs.

According to reports, Vivek’s organistation Karrm Infrastructure Pvt Ltd has written a letter to the CRPF fraternity announcing the flats to the kin of the martyrs who laid their lives for the nation in different operations.

Reportedly, four flats have already been to the families. Karrm Infrastructure has release a list of the families who has been given the flat where as the rest of the list will be released soon.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Vivek has seen working for a noble cause. He also serves as the anti-tobacco spokesperson for World Health Organization and is also associated with Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA).

It seems troubles are not stopping for Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh, and Urvashi Rautela starrer Great Grand Masti. After the film had been leaked online, the makers of the film decided to reschedule the release of the film from July 22 to July 15. Well, now when the film is all set to release tomorrow, another controversy has hit the film.

A day before the release, Shiney Ahuja has filed a case against the film for naming a character after him. Based on a report, which said a maid in the film is called Shiney, the actor has filed the case, and the same character in the film has been played by Sonali Raut.

Reports also suggest that Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani, and Riteish Deshmukh get funny with the maid Shiney (Sonali Raut) in one of the scenes from the film, which has apparently not gone well with Shiney Ahuja. So, Shiny has asked the makers of the film to delete the scene with a written apology.

Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani-starrer “Great Grand Masti” is supposed to hit screens on July 22, almost 17 days from now. But like Udta Punjab, the prints of the film have already been leaked online, weeks ahead of its release. This film which has been leaked is the third part in the Masti series, where the last part is the only adult film to ever make it to the 100 Cr club mark.

As for the reports, A censored copy of the Adult-Comedy film “Great Grand Masti” has been leaked online two weeks before its scheduled theatrical release. The censor copy of the complete 2 hours 14 minutes movie was leaked online on Monday in piracy sites, and the movie print has censor board copy written on it reportedly. Unlike Udta Punjab, Great Grand Masti has no use politically or doesn’t have big stars attached to it, so no one is bothered to express similar concerns.

Now, another buzz is flying in the film Nagar. It is that a Bollywood hero will be the villain for Chiranjeevi’s re-entry film.
