Recent Malayalam film Lucifer continues to break all the records at the box office. Starring Mohanlal in the lead role, this political thriller has collected more than Rs. 100 crores within eight days of its release. With this feat, it has become the fastest Malayalam film to enter into the 100 crores club.
In fact, it is the second Malayalam film to enter the 100 crore club. First one was Pulimurugan, which also star Mohanlal in the lead role. Looking at its run at the theatres, it is being expected that the film will cross the lifetime collections of Pulimurugan, within no time.
Lucifer is directed by another star actor of Malayalam industry, Prithviraj Sukumaran. Vivek Oberoi and Manju Warrier played the other key roles in it. It is gearing up to release in Telugu as well, on this 12th.
