The first look of Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Rai’ will be unveiled on May 1st.
Rai will reunite Varma with Vivek Oberoi, whom he had directed in films like Company and Rakta Charitra I & II. Vivek Oberoi will play a real-life underworld gangster named Muthappa Rai in Rai.
Muthappa Rai is known to be one of the Greatest Gangster Ever, who works in the disguise of a businessman. The first look of the film will be unveiled by Muthappa Rai on the eve of his birthday, on May 1, in the presence of nearly 50,000 people at Bidadi, Bengaluru.
The film will be shot in London, Dubai, Mumbai and Bengaluru with a budget of Rs 55 Crore. After a long time, Varma is working on a big budget film which will be released in 3 languages. Telugu rights are acquired by Dasari Kiran Kumar, the producer of ‘Vangaveeti’.
