Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi became well-known among the Tollywood audience after Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Raktha Charitra’ franchise. He did negative roles in a few Telugu movies and again shifted back to Bollywood. However, after a small break, Vivek is going to stage a comeback into Telugu with the much anticipated #RC12 movie. Ram Charan teamed up with mass director Boyapati Srinu and doing this film. The makers roped in Vivek Oberoi to play the negative role in the film by paying a fancy amount of Rs 1.25 crores.
Vivek must have felt that this is the time for him to his remuneration and made a shocking quotation to ‘Devadas’ makers. Nagarjuna and Nani are currently busy with their multi-starrer ‘Devadas’. The makers of the film approached Vivek Oberoi to play the villain role. But Vivek demanded a hefty paycheck of Rs 2.5 crores which shocked the producers. Unable to reach Vivek’s expectations, ‘Devadas’ makers started searching for another villain in their film.
