Recently, she broke up with her boyfriend and started focussing back on her acting career. She started a film in Tamil with Vijay Sethupathi a few days back. Currently, she is listening to a lot of other scripts as well. Apparently, Shruti wants to do more female-oriented flicks from now on.

Though it is a brave idea from Shruti, it would be better if she regains her stardom before going out solo in the market, as she lost all of her popularity with her absence for these two years.

If the buzz is believed to be true, Vijay Setupathi has grabbed his second film in Telugu and he is expected to play the negative role in mega hero Vaishnav Tej’s film. The film is being directed by Buchi Babu, a former associate to Sukumar. Mythri Movie makers and Sukumar are jointly producing the film.
