We have reported a few days back that actress Shruti Haasan is planning to make her comeback into Telugu and is hearing the scripts from the makers down here. Apparently, director Gopichand Malineni has approached her to act as the female lead in his upcoming film with Ravi Teja.
Apparently, Shruti has charged a whopping amount of Rs. 1.5 crores as remuneration to act in this movie. Producer Tagore Madhu, who is bankrolling the film, was shocked by her demand. It has been more than two years she has done her last film in Telugu. Star actress like Rakul Preet is charging only 80 lakhs.
Meanwhile, Shruti has been apparently not open for any negotiations. We have to see whether the makers will convince her or will opt for another heroine for the film.
