Talented actor Vijay Sethupathi is having the best phase of his career right now by scoring back to back hits with varied kinds of films. But he has landed in a controversy for making few statements in media which offended a particular section of people.
If we get into the story, Vijay Sethupathi was in Kerala recently for the shoot of his debut Malayalam film, Marconi Mathai, which has Jayaram as the lead. Interacting at the media over there, Vijay Sethuapthi praised Kerala Cheif Minister Pinerayi Vijayan’s stand on ongoing Sabarimala issue.
Vijay said that he is a big fan of Pinerayi Vijayan and he liked the way how CM handled the whole Sabarimala issue. CM Vijayan allowed women to enter Sabarimala temple with police protection recently. This has irked many citizens of Kerala. Now by making these statements, Vijay is facing the wrath of agitators. They said that Vijay has to fact check before making such statements and if he continues this further, they warned to ban his movies in Kerala.
