Sexy siren Shruti Haasan is inactive in the movies for quite some time now. She is focusing completely on her music career and she has not signed any new movie. Her last movie in Telugu is Kaatamarayudu.
Later, she ventured into the Television and turned a host for the TV show Hello Sago which has become a hit. Now, the buzz states that Shruti Haasan is getting back to acting and she signed an exciting project in Tamil with Vijay Setupathi playing the lead.
The buzz reveals that Shruti Haasan will play the leading lady in the upcoming film tentatively titled as Laabam. This project will be directed by SP Jananathan and will be produced by Arumuga Kumar.
Jagapathi Babu is expected to be a part of the film’s cast. More details about the project will be out soon.
