Top director of Tollywood, Trivikram Srinivas, who will next direct Tamil star hero Suriya, is planning to rope in top Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone to romance the star.

Trivikram is currently busy with the shooting of Nithin and Samantha starrer ‘A Aa’. Although many top stars of Tollywood are waiting for him, Trivikram chose to next direct Suriya. After repeating Samantha in ‘Attharintiki Daredi’, ‘S/o Sathyamurthy’ and ‘A..Aa..’, Trivikram is now planning to bring leggy lass of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone on board for his film with Suriya.

It seems that Trivikram is planning to conquer Kollywood and Bollywood with this film as he, Suriya and Deepika Padukone are big stars in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi respectively.

Kollywood star hero Suriya who has been tempting his Telugu fans of doing a straight film in Telugu, has finally started the process of making the film. This film will be directed by wordsmith Trivikram Srinivas.

The film is obviously a bilingual. The heroine and other cast, crew weren’t confirmed yet but the regular shooting will begin from July 2016.

Currently Trivikram is mingled with his next flick ‘A..Aa,’ Nithin and Samantha are the hero, heroine in the film. This family entertainer is produced by S.Radha Krishna. Once this film gets completed, Trivikram will pen down the final script of Suriya’s film.

On the other hand, Suriya has completed his sci-fi film ‘24’ which is directed by Vikram. He is gearing up for ‘Singham 3’ which is the third part of Singham franchise.

Shall wait and see how Trivkram’s dialogues and Suriya’s action will come out.

It is reported that Kollywood director Gautham Menon has roped in Jayam Ravi as the hero for his next film ‘Dhruva Natchathiram.’ Suriya, who was first approached by Menon for this film, rejected as the content of the film couldn’t please the hero. Now, Jayam Ravi has replaced Suriya for the film.

2015 has been the best year in Jayam Ravi’s career. ‘Thani Oruvan’ has become the first major hit in this heroes career, though there were others films of his which did well as the box-office they all were remakes. ‘Thani Oruvan’ that was directed by Ravi’s brother M. Raja was received well across Tamil Nadu and stood as one of the highest collections this year.

Post ‘Thani Oruvan’ Ravi has been approached by many Kollywood directors to cast him in his film. With offers pounding upon him, Ravi is choosing films carefully. In the process, he accepted to act in films like Miruthan and Bhooloham. Now additional to this, Menon’s ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ is accepted by Ravi.

In past rumours spoke that Menon approached Vijay with this film script, but couldn’t convince the star hero. Later on, he approached his best friend, Suriya. Suriya too didn’t show much interest in the script. With these two heroes disagreeing to the film, the director spoke with Jayam Ravi and narrated the whole script. Impressed with the story, Ravi gave bulk dates for this film shooting.

Dhruva Natchathiram could begin from next summer.

Suriya’s action entertainer Singham and Singham-2 are blockbusters not in Tamil but also in Telugu. Now, this film is getting ready for its third edition that will be directed by Hari. Anushka Shetty, who appeared in first two parts, will also be in the third part. As the second heroine of this part, Shruti Haasan was selected. This film will begin its regular shooting from December 2nd in Vizag. As per the latest development, Devi Sri Prasad who was the music director for first two parts is now replaced by Harris Jayaraj.

Earlier director Hari didn’t choose Devi Sri for the third part. He approached young music director Anirudh Ravichandran for Singham-3. As days went on Hari once again asked DSP for his dates and dropped the idea of working with Anirudh.

Now the recent twist is that Hari chose to drop DSP and has opted for Harris Jayaraj to compose music for Singham-3. Harris has been finalised to score music for Singham-3.

In the past, Harris scored music for Suriya’s Kaakha Kaakha, Ghajini, Vaaranam Aayiram, Ayan, Aadhavan, 7aum Arivu and Maattrraan, which all became music chart busters. This was also a reason for Suriya accepting Harris for ‘Singham-3.’

After prolonged delays for release due to the financial crisis, Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Rajini Murugan’ is finally making its way into theatres. ‘Rajni Murugan’ will come to theatres in Tamil Nadu and overseas from 4th of December. Popular Kollywood director Linguswamy is producing this film.

Sivakarthikeyan will be seen in the title role of this comedy entertainer directed by Ponram. Keerthy Suresh is the heroine and Imman is the music director for this film. Sivakarthikeyan and Ponram are teaming up for the second time after the success of Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam.

While this film is on the verge for its release on 4th, another movie that was also scheduled to release on the very same day is now postponed. Suriya’s ‘Pasanga-2’ that was earlier announced of releasing on 4th of December is now coming into theatres on 24th of December.

Knowing that ‘Rajini Murugan’ will release on 4th of Decemebr, Suriya decided not to release ‘Paasanga-2’ while there would be a clash at the box-office because of lack of theatres.

Many news is speculating in the media about Trivikram Srinivas’s next movie after A.Aa. Kollywood hero Suriya whose upcoming film’s ‘Pasanga-2’ and ‘24’ are getting ready for release. Now the buzz is that Suriya will be seen in a negative shade role as Villain in 24.

‘Pasanga-2’ is a sequel of 2009 super hit ‘Pasanga.’ This film is produced by Suriya himself and directed by Pandiraj. Amala Paul too has a cameo in this children’s film. According to the director, ‘Pasannga-2’ is ‘the world of ‘Tiny Tots’ and will offer a beautiful experience to all.’ This film is said to be a message oriented one that is sure of wetting the audience eyes. ‘Pasana-2’ will be in theatres from December 4th.

On the other hand, there is ’24.’ This is a unique one in Suriya’s career, as he is playing three different roles in this time travelling movie. Suriya will be seen as an elder brother and younger brother. Apart from that he will also be seen as the son of the elder brother. Samantha and Nithya Menon are the heroines in the movie.

Among these three characters lay a negative shade. This is what made Suriya more interested in accepting the film. This character’s first look was revealed on last Monday. The negative character is reported to be the main plot of the film that makes the film more amusing.

Tollywood Prince Mahesh Babu got the first offer for Suriya’s 24 movie, but the actor rejected the film citing some script issues. Recently the filmmakers have released the first look posters of Suriya from the film 24. The film is said to be a science fiction thriller film written and directed by Vikram Kumar of Manam fame.

As per the sources, director Vikram Kumar first approached Mahesh Babu with the script of 24 movie. Mahesh Babu liked the first half, and he was not happy with the second half, so he rejected the movie. Finally, Kollywood actor Suriya gets that project.

As per the reports, Suriya will be seen in a triple role in the film. Suriya will be playing an elder brother and younger brother. Apart from that he will also be seen as the son of the elder brother. Samantha and Nithya Menon are the heroines in the movie.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu is now busy with the shooting of his much-awaited project “Brahmotsavam” and it’s slated for Summer 2016 release. Srikanth Addala is the director and PVP Prasad is the producer. Samantha, Kajal, and Pranitha are the heroines.

Tamil Hero Suriya’s super hit series ‘Singham’ is now getting ready for its third part. This film is titled as ‘Singham 3’ and will once again star Suriya in the role of Duraisingam. Hari will remain as the director and Anushka is also retaining the role of Suriya’s wife.

Though the first two parts of the film saw many repetitive characters, Hari this time chose not to repeat anyone and has opted to cast in others for prominent roles in the third part.

Director Hari, who first thought of casting in the same faces that appeared in first part’s, later though the audience might feel bored and may get confused, so he decided to cast in new faces for the film.

He also felt that since the third part will be a different film while compared to one and two parts, casting new characters will give a fresh look.

‘Singham-3’ will begin its regular shooting from next month. Shruti Hassan has been roped in for the second lead.

Tamil star hero Suriya and director Gautham Menon, who have hit movies like ‘Kaakha Kaakha’ and ‘Surya S/o Krishnan’ to their name, were supposed to make a third film but they parted ways.

Sometime back Suriya openly sated that despite he had waited for Menon for almost six months, the director couldn’t come up with a script so he opted to do other films. This open blasting by Suriya didn’t like by Gautham Menon and they decided not to join hands again.

Suriya’s subsequent film ‘Sikandar’ and ‘Mass’ failed, but Gautham Menon scored a hit with Ajith’s ‘Yennai Arindaal’.

As per sources, Suriya’s wife and actress Jyothika has now decided to bury the hatchet between the hero and director. Will Gautham Menon agree to her proposal?

Tamil Star Hero Suriya, who had been silent during the period of Nadigar Sangam elections, has responded post the victory of Vishal’s camp. He wrote a letter congratulating Vishal and co and made few indirect comments at Sarath Kumar & Co.

Sarath Kumar had reiterated during the election campaign that he had helped the films of Kamal Haasan, Karthi and Vishal when they were facing issues, but the heroes have no gratitude for him. Suriya said, ‘Don’t call your responsibilities as Help’. He requested the winning team not to let this year’s atmosphere repeat.

Currently Suriya has produced a film called “Pasanga 2” in Tamil. National Award Winner Pandiraj directs this film. This film is being released in Telugu as “Memu,” said movie producer Madhusudan Reddy.

Anushka Shetty is confirmed of playing as heroine in the 3rd part of Singham.

With being roped into the 3rd part of Singham, Anushka has successfully completed as a heroine in a movie series. This is a record. From Hollywood to Kollywood any film that has sequel doesn’t have the same heroine in it. The hero is the same in sequels but the heroines change. Director Hari broke this rule by casting Anushka once again.

In the first part that released in 2010, Anushka played as the love interest of Suriya. In the second part she was accompanied with Hansika. Since Hansika appeared in Singam 2, Anushka’s character was restricted of more scenes. In this third venture Shruthi Hassan is rumoured of accompanying both Suriya and Anushka.

Before that, another movie of Suriya is hitting soon. The movie titled as “Haiku” and Surya has produced it. Directed by Pandiraj of “Pasanga” fame this is a child film. Suriya is producing this film under the banner of 2D. Pandiraj is a much-acclaimed director for his work in “Pasanga” that won many national and International awards.

With the same genre of Pasanga, the story of Haiku was also made. The musical tracks will apparently hit the stores on the 17th of October. With post-production work going on for some time now, an official announcement on the film’s release is expected soon.

Amal Paul, Bindu Madhavi, Suriya are seen in special characters in Haiku. This film has completed its shooting long back but didn’t see any space for releasing in theaters.

Anjaan star Suriya is usually very professional and quite the gentle man in life, so it is very shocking to hear this new development to say the least. The incident happened on the sets of the star’s latest venture Masss, directed by Vikram Prabhu.

Since the shooting was happening on location in Chennai, as usual onlookers had gathered around to watch the filming. Unfortunately though not all the fans who were present were well wishers of the actor. Soon enough, some of them began trolling the actor by shouting out loud comments and insulting him for his latest release which is Anjaan.

Evidently, this being a public place, there wasn’t much the crew could do to silence the commenters, and they seemed to know this as this behaviour continued for some time.

Suriya was busy shooting his scenes and initially did not seem to be paying attention to this group of people. He kept his cool and went about doing his job, but slowly it began to get too distracting for the actor as he was trying to deliver his best before the camera.

Apparently and justifiably, somewhere along the line, he lost his composure but even then the dignified person that he is, he did not engage these individuals who were obviously looking for attention. Instead he simply and silently left the shooting spot and gave some excuse about having prior commitments which he couldn’t avoid.

Obviously this must have been made up, because an actor of his dedication would not have previous engagements on a day of filming and that too on location.

But kudos to Suriya for acting in a civilized manner and shame on whoever the fans were who displayed such shocking behaviour towards an actor like Suriya.

Let us hope the shooting got back on track later and that such incidents don’t repeat themselves in the future…
