Star senior heroines Jyothika and Revathi collaborated to come up with an action-comedy titled as ‘Jackpot’. Written and directed by Kalyaan, the movie has been carrying a decent pre-release buzz.

After increasing the expectations on the film with the teaser itself, the makers have now come up with the theatrical trailer of the film which is going viral on the Internet. The trailer showcased that Jyothika and Revathi turn as criminals and becomes a threat for gangsters in the city. Their massy looks added more beauty for the trailer. The 1 minute 46 seconds video hinted that the movie is going to entertain the audience from the start to the end. Yogi Babu, Rajendran, Mansoor Ali Khan, and Anandraj are playing vital roles in the film.

Suriya himself is pooling resources for the film under 2D Entertainments banner. The movie is slated to hit the theatres in August this year.

This will mark the debut of Paresh Rawal in Tamil film industry. Soorarai Pottru is based on the life of Deccan Airways chief Captain GR Gopinath. Aparna Balamurali is the female lead of this movie. GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music for it.

Kaappaan is the upcoming Tamil film starring Suriya, Mohanlal and Arya in the lead roles. KV Anand who earlier worked with Suriya for the film Veedokkade is the director of the movie. Tipped to be a political action drama, the film is produced by Lyca Productions in a prestigious manner. The filming of the movie is currently happening at a brisk pace.

The makers wanted to release the film on 15th August on the occasion of Independence day in Telugu, Tamil, Overseas and some parts in North India.

On the other side, Prabhas’ next film Saaho is also scheduled for a grand release around the same time. Both Saaho and Kaappaan might get into a clash with each other.

The makers of Saaho are planning to have a big release for the movie and it might certainly become a big box-office battle.
