Ace director S S Rajamouli has won yet another prestigious national level award to his sleeve. His name has been zeroed for the ANR memorial award.

King Nagarjuna yesterday has officially announced the name of S S Rajamouli as the winner of this ANR Award for the year 2017. Earlier this award was given to Bollywood shahanshah Amitabh Bachchan, Sridevi etc. Thus Rajamouli has become the youngest member to receive this award. The award will be presented in a specially organized function in the coming days by none other than Vice President of India, K Venkaiah Naidu.

Delighted Rajamouli took his Twitter to thank Nag for conveying the news. He claimed that its his honor and privilege to bag this prestigious award for his contribution to Indian Cinema.

The magnum opus ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ released only a few days back and has already shattered a number of box-office records. While fans are going gaga over the epic, and the film’s stars are revelling in the limelight, one actor stepped up to give due credit to the leading man of the franchise – Prabhas.

Rana Daggubati, who played the antagonist Bhallaladeva in the SS Rajamouli directorial, praised his co-star. In a recent media interaction, he said, A big shoutout this fine gentleman my co-star, friend and Baahubali himself. He further added that Rajamouli always used to call Prabhas as Darling and he used to say we are doing international project. Well, it is indeed heartwarming to see such a strong bond of friendship between the two stars off-screen.

The upcoming big flick in Tollywood, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy starring megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to roll off the shooting.

None other than the star creative director Rajamouli is going to launch the title logo of this flick. A buzz is doing the rounds that Rajamouli’s next movie would be with Sarrainodu Star Allu Arjun. Still, it is unclear but a strong rumor is grabbing the headlines, an official announcement is yet to made by the filmmakers.

As we all know, Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 was a costly budget film so his next movie with Allu Arjun would likely to be a medium budget flick without any VFX graphics as per the sources. But, a group of people belongs to Arekatika Community are very upset and expressed their displeasure with Baahubali 2. They have filed a case against Rajamouli and the producers in Banjara Hills police.

According to the people of Arekatika community, Rajamouli has shown their community in a poor light and hurt the sentiments by mentioning the words ‘Katika Cheekati’. The President of Arekatika Porata Samithi requested the police to take serious action against Baahubali makers. They are demanding to delete the objectionable word from the movie.
