Siddharth, who once was a star young hero in Telugu, had to stop doing films here due to some controversies. Later, he moved on to Tamil film industry but things didn’t really go well for him there as well. Though he has a good success rate, he hasn’t been getting many chances there.

After a long time, Sid came up with his new Tamil film Sivappu Manjal Pachai. It is directed by Sasi of Bichagadu fame. The teaser of this movie was released this evening. Siddharth will be seen as a sincere and tough traffic cop in this movie. GV Prakash played another lead role in this movie.

GV will be seen as a young rookie who is a bike racer. The duo faces off in a particular incident and things get intense between them from there on. The teaser looks intriguing and looks like Sasi came up with a good cop and rookie story with a bit of twist. It is slated to release on July 5.

Kollywood hero Siddharth extended his support to ‘Me Too’ movement. Talking about this on social media, Siddharth have been making so many tweets. Recently, actress Leena commented that Tamil Director Susi Ganeshan molested her.

“He pressed the center lock button of the car we were in and snatched and threw my mobile. Susi Ganesan threatened me to come to his house and I was petrified,” said Leena and stated that she is hoping for some more voices to raise against him. Leena also alleged that he tried to molest her and her allegations shocked the Kollywood. Now, Actor Siddharth also shared his experience that Susi tried to threaten his father and stated that he is supporting Leena.

A tragedy struck in character artist Siddhu’s home. Siddhu who is a character artist in Kollywood acted with Aadi in Yagavarayanum, Nakaoka. His wife is Smirija. In a shocking incident, Siddarth’s wife committed suicide. The dispute between Siddarth and his wife are going on for a long time regarding having no children. The same arguments took place on Monday night too.

In the heat of the moment, Siddarth’s wife locked her inside the room and Siddharth slept in the hall. By the time he woke up, he found his wife still inside the room. He tried to wake her up by knocking on the door but received no response inside.

With a suspicion, he immediately informed the cops who reached the spot and found her hanging to the fan inside the room. The cops have registered the case and took her body for the post-mortem.

After the grand success of the movie Gruham, actor Siddarth is currently coming up with an interesting film titled Saithan Ka Bachcha. Kappal fame G Krish is directing the movie. Even before the completion of the film, the actor signed a new film and Bollywood model Divyansha Koushik is playing his love interest in the movie which marks her Kollywood debut.

The actress confirmed the news and revealed that she gave the audition and started shooting for the movie. The actress will play the role of a modern girl who will be presented as orthodox. The actress said that the director and Siddarth are helping her to get her Tamil lines properly. This new film is also going to be directed by G Krish. The two-time collaboration of the actor and director is interesting.

Vijay’s fans on Twitter took it personally as they felt that he was attacking Ilayathapathy’s movie. They abused and trolled him and indicated that his words will have zero value.

Siddharth replied to the trollers in his own style and tweeted: “If you want to know what will not add 1 paisa value to Tamil Cinema, please read last 100 replies on my timeline. Filthy language, thevayillatha poison, sambandhamillatha kovam. Two sets of few jobless idiots spoiling everyone’s name and time. Paavam Vijay-Ajith.”

However, Tamil Nadu Producers’ Council had called for a complete shutdown of the industry from March 16 over its issues with the Digital Service Providers.

Tamil movie producer Ashok who is a close relative to actor and director Sasikumar attempted suicide on Tuesday at his residence. The buzz is that he took this decision as he could not find a way to clear all his debts. The entire Kollywood is responding in this issue now. Story:

Krish (Siddharth) is a neuro surgeon happily living with his wife Lakshmi (Andrea). They have new neighbors in the house next door and their arrival brings a lot of problems to this family. Slowly everyone realises that the house next door is haunted and what happens after that reveals the entire story of the film.

Writing department:

The film has been co-written by Siddharth and Milind Rau. Apparently the writing has come out well and a lot of care has been taken in the screenplay. The screenplay has been interesting and the makers did a right thing by holding the twist till the end. The dialogues are good in the movie and they are meaningful. On a whole, the writing of the film is great.

Performances:

Siddharth is at his usual best in the film. He proved the actor in him once again and made it clear that he is one of the talented actors in the current generation. His performance especially during the last 15 mins is a highlight for the film and his on screen chemistry with Andrea has worked very well. Andrea has got a sweet role in the film and she is also at her best in the film. Another major highlight in the film is the performance from Anisha Victor. Anisha Victor has delivered a great performance as a teenager and she is going to grab a lot of offers after this. Atul Kulkarni has got a good role in the film and he performed well as per the character limitations. Senior actor Suresh is also seen in a key role in the film. Prakash Dhalwadi has played a short role and rest of the actors have made their presence felt.

Technical department:

Technically, the film is looking very strong and the sound designing as well as the camera work is top notch. The background score by Girish is ultimate. The cinematography by Shreyas Krishna is one of the major assets of the film and the editing by Lawrence Kishore is nice. The Production values of Via Com and Etaki entertainments are rich. The running time of the film is also very less and it helped the film a lot.

Verdict:

Gruham is one of the rarest films which will stick to the genre. Tipped to be a horror entertainer, the film Gruham stays unique and scares the audiences during every possible scene. Unlike the other mixed genres, the film is completely pure in terms of horror elements. It’s been a long time that we have seen a complete horror film like this. The film is decorated by solid performances from the lead actors and also sound technicalities. On a whole, the film is certainly a must watch for everyone and those who loves horror films will definitely like this one.
