Noted actor and writer, Posani Krishna Murali has been hospitalized due to a knee ailment. He was suffering from knee joints pain for a long time and finally has decided to undergo surgery as per the suggestion of doctors, said the official sources. The actor was supposed to attend the hearing by Election Commission the other day.

But he wrote a letter to the Election commission, attested with a medical certificate, saying ” I am not able to walk. The operation needs to be done immediately. So, please postpone the hearing of my case for a later date.” The EC is yet to respond to this request.

Posani was in news for last few days for accusing Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu of various scams. This was followed by a case filed on him by TDP members. Thus Election Commission has ordered him to attend the hearing. Posani has been supporting YSRCP for these elections.

There were a lot of rumours that Posani Krishna Murali will be coming up with a film based on the life of Chandra Babu Naidu in which he will showcase him as a wrong person. Posani never announced this but basing on few media speculations, some TDP supporters approached the EC and then the commission asked Posani to clarify on the same. Today, Posani called for a press meet where he clarified on the issue.

“I never made any announcement that I am doing a movie on Chandra Babu. Still, I gave an explanation letter to EC but still they asked me to appear before them. Lokesh Nara called the Opposition leader a Broker. If I complain against him, would EC be reacting in the same manner? The law is equal for CM, CM’s son and a normal person like Posani. I am thinking that they are cooking up a conspiracy to murder me. Are they doing this just because I am a supporter of YSRCP?” questioned Posani in his press meet.

We have to see how TDP leaders are going to react to the same.

Posani Krishna Murali is a big-time film personality who never encountered failure as an actor, as a director and as an actor now. Posani has been having a great time in his career now. The actor is also interested in politics and he is more inclined towards YSRCP. As per the ongoing reports, he might soon join the party officially. Posani already met Jagan during Padayatra.

Now, the buzz is that Posani wants to direct a biopic and he wanted to do it on the life of YS Jagan. Posani wanted to begin the shoot immediately and release it before the elections. There is also a buzz that Posani is expecting MLA ticket from one of the constituencies in Andhra Pradesh.

Director and producer Posani Krishna Murali expressed his displeasure over the remarks made by AP Minister Nara Lokesh. Speaking to media, Posani said Nara Lokesh has made the Tollywood celebrities “Telugu Rohingyas”.

It may be recalled that Nara Lokesh said that the AP state government would ban announcing Nandi Awards if the ongoing controversy turned murkier. “Those who do not even have an Aadhar and voter card in AP are making comments on the prestigious awards,” he said.

Taking strong exception to Nara Lokesh’s remarks, Posani sought to know as to why the AP politicians are building houses in Telangana even after the state got bifurcated. “How can you play politics over the issue,” he questioned Lokesh.

He further said that AP political leaders should learn from Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. “Hyderabad is a joint capital of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Anybody can reside in the city. The AP leaders, who are improving their assets in Hyderabad, are making comments by sitting somewhere in Andhra Pradesh,” he said.

On this occasion, Posani decided to give back the Nandi award he received from the AP government for the movie – ‘Temper’. “I am ashamed of receiving this award. If I have accepted people may think that Posani accepted it as he belongs to Kamma community,” he said.

He also supported the idea of selecting Nandi awardees through Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) method as suggested by AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, so that the people would become judges in announcing the awards.
