Director Boyapati Sreenu is considered as one of the topmost filmmakers in Tollywood. After giving back to back hits since Legend, there were many expectations on his last film Vinaya Vidheya Rama. But to everyone’s shock, the film turned out to be a disaster and Boyapati was blamed for his poor screenplay and over the top sequences.
Apparently, Boyapati took a remuneration of Rs. 15 crores for that film. The producer himself got to pay the taxes for it. But the failure of VVR has damaged the fame of this director and for his next film with Balakrishna, he is being offered pay of only Rs. 6 crores.
According to the sources, Balakrishna, who is also the producer of the film, has told Boyapati that he can only pay that much amount in the current situation. Boyapati, who is also not in a position to ask for a hike, has decided to settle with the proposed payment.
