Nadigar Sangam President Nasser revealed to media that the Sangam has decided to file a case against the earlier working committee for not submitting the financial records of 2014-15 even three months after the new committee has taken charge.

It is known that after an intense battle, Vishal’s team emerged victorious in Nadigar Sangam elections over ex-president and senior actor Sharat Kumar’s team. Sharat Kumar has been criticized by Vishal’s team for various irregularities in Sangam funds and the deal with Sathyam cinemas.

Present President Nasser, after the committee meeting held on Sunday, speaking to media, revealed that since the former committee didn’t submit the records yet, they have decided to take legal action.

The newly elected Nadigar Sangam has recently given way emergency supplies to the flood victims of Cuddalore district. Cuddalore district is one of the most affected districts that has become a victim for the heavy floods that occurred recently in Tamilnadu.

Rice, Pulses, Salt, Sugar and clothes along with few necessary requirements were given. Nadigar Sangam along with National Environmental Foundation have jointly participated in this process.

Treasurer Karthi along with the working members of the Nadigar Sangam have paid a visit to the district and asked about the needs of the people who were affected the most. They further assured that any help from their side is always demandable.

The Sangam also visited veteran Tamil actor Cho Ramaswamy, who is hospitalized due to bad health.

The newly elected Nadigar Sangam team led by Vishal and Nasser have decided to gift all its members dresses and sweets for this Diwali. As per the reports they are gifting veshtis to all the men and sarees to all the women members of the association along with a sweets box.

The newly elected committee of Nadigar Sangam aka South Indian Artistes Association has decided to give clothes as gifts to all the 3500 members of the association. This news is revealed the other day in a press release. Sweets will also be gifted to the members. It is well known that the Association has around 700 members from Tollywood.

Apart from this, the committee has decided to divide the working members of the committee in groups and enquire about the current situation, monetary ways, etc.. of all stage actors living in the villages in Tamil Nadu. This process will start after Diwali.

As the Nadigar Sangam Elections are fast approaching, to be held on 18th of this month, the rival groups have intensified their verbal war.

The incumbent president Sarath Kumar’s group has conducted a press meet at a star hotel and at the event, actor Simbu, who is running for the Vice-President post, has criticized Vishal, the leader of opposition group. Simbu alleged that Vishal is trying to divide Nadigar Sangam as he is bringing in his personal issue into the Sangam and using other actors to defame legends like Vijayakanth, Sarath Kumar, etc.

‘It seems that he is not impressed by the good works done by Sarath Kumar while he was president, and he has been raising only the one or two mishaps that happened’ said Simbu.

Meanwhile, Vishal is also taking the support from Tollywood actors Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi on Nadigar Sangam Elections. This election also looks like MAA Elections in Tollywood.
