Actor Vishal scored a super hit last year in both Tamil and Telugu with the film Abhimanyudu. Directed by PS Mithran, this cyber crime based movie was received well by the audience. Samantha played the female lead in the film and Arjun Sarja was seen in a negative role.
According to the grapevine, the makers of this movie are now planning to make a sequel for it. In the first part, Arjun doesn’t die and the movie ends on a note hinting at a sequel. So, there is scope for retaining all the original characters for this second part. We hear that Smanatha is yet to give her nod for the project.
Apparently, Vishal had a talk with the actress but she is still yet to make a decision. Meanwhile, Vishal will shoot for his next film which is being directed by Sundar C and has Tamannaah as the heroine. Original version’s director PS Mithran might not helm this film as he is busy with another project with Siva Karthikeyan. Hence, Vishal gave the opportunity to debutant Anand to direct the film. More details about this project are expected to be revealed soon.
