She has lived in the role of the legendary actress Savitri. The actress recently shared some of the experiences with the movie and revealed her reaction on the final day of the film’s sets.

“Mahanati is a special film. I am not sure if I can do something like this in future but my career will begin from Mahanati. I don’t know much about Savitri life before signing the project. I started the project with a lot of doubts and went through physical as well as mental strain. On the last day of the film’s shoot, I was in a situation where I am at the loss of words. I am happy and sad at a time. It was difficult for me to overcome that feeling.” said the actress.

Pandem Kodi is a successful movie in Tamil which has Vishal and Meera Jasmine in the leads. The movie was dubbed in Telugu and it has given a new life for the actor in Telugu. Vishal enjoys a great market in Telugu film industry and the actor always plans to release his movies in Telugu as well. Now, there is a sequel being shaped for the super hit film.

Almost after more than a decade, the director Linguswamy teamed up with Vishal for the movie and it is titled as Pandem Kodi 2. Keerthy Suresh is playing the leading lady in the movie. We all know that Keerthy Suresh is playing the role of Mahanati Savitri in the biopic of the legendary actress. Amidst huge expectations, the makers have finally released the teaser and it completely steals the show. The film is going to get released in Telugu and Tamil languages.

The film is titled as Nadigaiyar Thilagam in Tamil and it is directed by debutant filmmaker Nag Ashwin. Samantha will be seen as a journalist and Vijay as her assistant. The actress looks convincing as the legendary actress and the film are all about the filmy journey of Mahanati. The life story of Savitri shown to the audience in the journalist point of view and the teaser ended with the scene, in which Savitri post-pregnancy and the introduction of Dulquer Salmaan, who plays the role of Gemini Ganesan, the Tamil star who married Savitri.

Yesteryear actress Bhanupriya has joined team ‘Mahanati’ to lend her voice for a character. It’s not known as to which character she is dubbing for. “When great actors come together to pay tribute to the one Nadigaiyar Thilagam.”

Perhaps, she has dubbed for the Tamil version. From Keerthy Suresh (who is playing Savitri’s role) to Samantha, from Vijay Devarakonda to Dulquer Salman and Naga Chaitanya, from Mohan Babu to Prakash Raj, from Shalini Pandey to Malavika Nair, from guest players like Krish and Tharun Bhascker to others, the star cast is awesome.
