After the tremendous success of ‘Baahubali’, Prabhas not only became a pan-Indian but also became a popular hero in Bollywood as well. Now, even Bollywood audience are eagerly waiting for his upcoming movie ‘Saaho’.

It is known that the makers have finally unveiled that the movie is going to hit the screens on August 15th, 2019. Interestingly, this multicore action drama is going to clash with two Bollywood big releases which are releasing at the time. One of them is ‘Batla house’ starring John Abraham. Touted to be an action thriller, the film is based on the true story of Batla House encounter case that happened in 2008. Nikhil Advani is helming this project. Interestingly, T Series is bankrolling both ‘Batla house’ and ‘Saaho’ movies. The other movie which is going to clash is Akshay Kumar starrer, ‘Mission Mangal’. Touted to be the first ever Bollywood space film, Jagan Shakti is helming this project.

We have to see if anyone of these three biggies back out or will have a huge clash at the box office. On the same day, the expectations are equally high. We have to wait and see if Prabhas who is making his direct Hindi debut with ‘Saaho’ succeeds in impressing the audience or not.

John Abraham is currently busy shooting for his new film titled Satyameva Jayathe. The makers are busy with the pending works regarding the movie. In the middle of everything, we have come to know that a BJP leader Syed Ali Jafree has filed a case against the movie claiming that the film is projecting a section of the Muslim religion in poor light.

The theatrical trailer of the movie was released recently and he has raised some objections about the same. The case was registered at Dabipura police station.

He has asked the police officials to take necessary action against the movie unit and also said that he complained about the same to the censor board. He also warned the film unit that he will hold a lot of protests if the makers failed to look into the issue.

With the advent of technology, most of the stunts in the films are being done using either VFX or body doubles, but there are some heroes who take risks to bring authenticity to their movies.

The actor’s upcoming film ‘Force 2’ is all about action and the star hero seems to have gone the extra length to perform those high-octane action sequences. The macho actor has shared a video on Twitter in which he was seen undergoing a knee surgery. He wrote that he had to undergo three knee surgeries for ‘Force 2’.

As for the reliable sources, Heavy duty action sequences of an exciting 12-minute chase comprising choppers, speedboats and cars have been shot for the film “Dishoom”. The helicopter chase sequence is one of the most complicated scenes shot in Bollywood history this action sequence mounted up to Rs.3 crore because this scene is shot in Morocco with multiple choppers and trained fighters that were used as a part of the crew of international artists.

“Dishoom” is directed by Rohit Dhawan. Also starring Jacqueline Fernandez and Akshaye Khanna, the movie will release worldwide on July 29 this year.

Story

Kabir Ahlawat aka Rocky aka Handsome (as called by his neighbours) is a pan broker who lends money for security. He has an emotional bonding with a seven year old girl, who happens to be his neighbour. One day, she is kidnapped by leader of drug mafia and her mother is killed by selling her all the body parts. He goes on search of her and ANC department focuses on him. When they start to find all about him, they aren’t unable to track him down. They focus more on him as he beats their officials to go away when he is arrested. Who is Rocky?? Why is the child kidnapped?? What’s their bonding form the rest of the story.

Cast and Performance

John Abraham as Kabir Ahlawat aka Rocky Handsome is terrific. He steals the show with his abilities. Whole movie relies on his power. Shruthi Hassan as Rukshidha is good. She has a very limited screen presence who comes in flash back in regular intervals. Sharadh Kelkar is superb as ANC officer. Nishikanth Kamat as Kevin, a drug dealer, bad guy of the movie is good. He stays always as safe as hiding in a bullet proof car. Ted Maurya, another bad guy and brother of Kevin did a nice job. He offers some interesting acts in his role. Nathalia Kaur as drug addict and a dancer at a pub is only meant for her skin show. She has nothing to do more than that. Divya Chelwad, small girl for whom our Rocky goes on search is good. But she always seemed to have some fear on her face. All other actors are adequate in their roles.

Writing Department

Plot of the story is simple. Screenplay is not so gripping and loses it flow easily. Dialogues are good. As this is an official remake of Man from Nowhere, dialogues are also seemed to be translated from the original.

Technical Departments

Songs of the movie are soothing and good to hear. They are well composed by Sunny Bawra and Inder Bawra. They did a fine job with their background music. Rock the party by Bombay Rockers team is also good. Cinematography by Shanker Raman is fantastic. His work complements the flow of the film well and scenes are superbly shot. Editing is neat. Kecha, who composed fights for Telugu film Iddharammayilatho has done a superb job with this movie. Production values are nice.

Verdict

Rocky Handsome is an official remake of Man from nowhere a 2010 released korean film. It begins with a romantic love making song between Shruthi Hassan and John Abraham. This movie can be said as a faithful remake where dialogues are also copied. Screenplay takes this film elsewhere putting theme aside. Fleeting runtime does not add. When the identity of John Abraham is revealed it seems to be on track. But disaappoints big time. Background score is what it makes movie pathetic. Director Nishikanth Kamat just relies on the machoic avatar of John Abraham, who is fit to take down ten men at a stretch. It is his machoic show and is nothing more than that. To sum up, this remake fails to carry the emotion of the original.

Bollywood Macho hero John Abraham‘s Rocky Handsome looks really promising. The teaser, which was released few days back, made us interested in the film just right. Today, the makers have released yet another song from the film.

Beaches, brawn and a beauty, that can easily sum up the visuals of this song. John looks really calm in the song. It seems his character is a man of less words because it has Shruti singing this song seductively. Shruthi is looking really hot.

The dresses she wore will make any girl want all of them in her wardrobe. But it is their sizzling chemistry which will make you sit up and take note. They look incredibly good together. The passion and romance are there for all to see.But a lot of credit goes to the way Shreya Ghoshal has sung the song with so much of romantic feeling. Shruti has done a good job in reflecting those emotions on her face.

Johan Abraham was reported of an injury while filming action scenes for “Force-2” in Hungary(Europe).

While shooting for an action sequence, John Abraham felt down and met with a knee injury. Immediately he was rushed to a local hospital. As the injury was deep, the doctors performed minor surgery over John. Doctors removed the clotted blood from the injury part and made his knee better.

With the surgery coming to an end, John decided to participate in the shooting. But, director Abhinay Deo suggested that of having a good period of bed rest.

With the director’s decision of giving rest to the lead hero, shooting has been halted for two weeks.

Force-2 is the sequel of Force that came in 2011. John Abraham was also the hero in the first part. Sonakshi Sinha is the lead heroine in Force-2.

Shruthi Haasan, the lead actress of upcoming Hindi movie ‘Welcome Back’, was seen getting forcefully kissed by John Abraham in one of the promos. Bollywood romantic hero John Abraham is seen forcefully kissing gorgeous beauty Shruti Hassan right after which she introduces him as ‘shareef’ guy to her brothers, Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar, in the movie.

Welcome Back is directed by Anees Bazmee, and produced by Firoz Nadiadwala . It is a sequel to the 2007 film Welcome. Welcome Back movie is all set to rock the silver screens worldwide on September 4.

The film has Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor, Paresh Rawal and Shiney Ahuja in other main lead roles apart from lead cast John Abrahama and Shruti Hassan.

Bollywood heartthrob John Abraham has married to investment banker Priya Runchal in 2014 in US amidst close friends and family. Yes, after a lot of question raising and rumours flying, the news has been confirmed now – John Abraham will star in the movie Jazba which will mark the comeback of Aishwarya Rai to the cine world.

The flick will be directed by Sanjay Gupta and is set to launch in January 2015. It was announced by Aishwarya herself at the Cannes Film Festival this year.

Jazba is to be an action thriller and John Abraham will play a role loosely based on notorious gangster Abu Salem, after his extradition to India. John is very excited about the film and is rumoured to have said yes immediately upon hearing the story.

The sensational hero has always wanted to star opposite Aishwarya. It was all set to happen in the movie Happy Birthday directed by Shriram Raghavan years ago but the movie somehow never materialised.
