“Katti Batti” which is scheduled to release next Friday, starring Imran Khan and Kangana Ranaut has a good expectation in the Bollywood Industry. As the film is set to release next week, Actor Imran Khan and family left for a vacation to get relaxed.

Imran, along with his wife Avantika Malik Khan and little daughter Imara Khan had left to Goa for a holiday. Imran was spotted with his cute daughter spend time together in Goa.

Imran khan is definitely a family man. The Father and daughter were spotted having fun at the beach building sand castles. Imran’s day out with his daughter might have brought joy in his heart.

Imran Khan and Bollywood Queen Kangana Ranaut starring movie Katti Batti directed by Nikhil Advani. Katti Batti is a modern day romance that traces young architect Madhav Kabra’s (Imran Khan) love for the free-spirited Payal(Kangana Ranaut). They make for a perfect couple until a sudden turn of events creates an unanswered distance between them. What follows is a series a events that tests the fate of their relationship. Now the makers have been released a video song from the movie.

It is the season of Fresh Pairing, and if sources are to be paid any heed to, then we will witness another Fresh Pair on the block in terms of, Kangana Ranaut and Imran Khan.

After having won hearts by her performance in ‘Queen’, Kangana is scoring too well on the acting radar. And it is the reason that this curly-haired star is very quickly becoming every director’s choice. Recently, Kal Ho Na Ho director, Nikhil Advani, met Kangana and offered her ‘Katti Batti’. And guess what? She loved the role after hearing out the script, and she immediately said yes!

Imran Khan was already finalized for Katti Batti, which was previously titled ‘Saali Kutiya’, and the hunt for the lead actress was on. And Kangana is said to fit the bill perfectly. But even Ileana D’cruz is said to be a part of this project!

We are quite uncertain whether it is a two heroine film or Kangana will be replacing Ileana? Final confirmations are yet to come.

Three Karan Johar’s productions–I Hate Luv Storys, Ek Main Aur Ek Tu and Gori Tere Pyaar Mein–toplined him, but post the debacle of the last one, buzz is that Imran Khan is no longer a favourite with Dharma.

According to sources, Imran and Karan even had a fight post the release of ‘Gori tere Pyar Mein’, following which Imran landed up at Karan’s place offering to return the paycheque he had received for the film.

Rumour also has it that Karan Johar slaps Imran Khan for doing so!

Word from the Dharma Productions’ office is that Imran has not been approached for any of the banner’s upcoming projects.

Buzz also has it that the movie ‘Bhavesh Joshi’, in which Imran Khan was being considered to be cast, has now gone to Karan Johar’s current favourite, Siddharth Malhotra.

When contacted by a prominent media house, Imran said: “Karan gave me a hit when I needed it the most. We made three films together which are very close to my heart. However, currently we are not working on anything but I still hold the banner in the highest esteem.”

However, it’s not just the professional differences.

Karan who hardly fails to wish industry friends on Twitter, didn’t congratulate Imran.

Karan Johar was also absent from Imran and wife Avantika’s baby-shower.

When questioned on this subject, Imran said, “You should be asking this question to Karan and not me.”

When contacted by a prominent media house, Karan Johar did not respond.

Well, here’s hoping that all’s well between the two and all the news above are plain rumours!

Bollywood star Imran Khan, who gave a voice over in Hollywood hit Rio, predicts that animated movies will be big time in mainstream Indian cinema in the years to come. He said this as he was standing up in support of Rajnikanth’s animetd mega flick Kochadaiiyaan, which, in spite of a huge budget of Rs. 125 crores, has been criticized by the fans for its quality of animation work compared to the Hollywood products.

Imraan, however, sees the issue another way. He feels that if a superstar like Rajni can be part of something new and exciting like this epic movie, so can other actors. He also mentioned a little known fact that many Hollywood motion pictures, animated and live action, often outsource their work to Mumbai based companies when it comes to animation and CGI.

“So it isn’t a case of lack of talent in our country when it comes to these things, it’s a problem of no budgets for them.” Says Imraan.

He also rightly pointed out that animated movies only gained popularity in mainstream Hollywood in the last decade and a half. Even to the extent of getting best picture academy award nominations like Toy Story 3 – right alongside live action movies.

Imraan believes the same thing will happen in Indian cinema in the next decade or so, and Rajni’s Kochadaiiyaan has set the benchmark and is just the beginning.

The chocolate boy with cute looks, Imran Khan has been off the grid lately. Taking time off to be with his pregnant wife Avantika, Imran has been taking things nice and easy to enjoy some domestic bliss. However, sources confirm that Imran is now back to work and will be cast in Nikhil Advani’s next project.

Nikhil Advani, the director who delivered hits like Kal Ho Na Ho and D-Day is very keen to cast Imran Khan as the leading man in his next project which is untitled. The director also is busy with another project, Hero, which will see the debut of Sooraj Pancholi, son of Aditya Pancholi.

The film which is said to carry some unique elements will have Ileana D’ Criz playing the female lead in all likelihood. However, there is no official confirmation yet on the rest of the cast.

Imran Khan had recently lent his voice to the Hindi version of Rio 2 for the character Blu.

The actor, who was last seen in films like Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara! And Gori Tere Pyaar Mein was unable to fare well with commercial success. His films have been performing very poor lately, the last hit being Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu with Kareena Kapoor. The films such as Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola and Bombay Talkies could not do much to this ceebrated nephew of Aamir Khan.

Hopefullly, the fatherhood and Nikhil Advani’s project should turn things around for Imran Khan.

Shortly after launching the trailer of the Hindi version for Hollywood animation film Rio2, Imran Khan opened up with the media about his plans. Launching a Hollywood film propelled the press to ask him that million dollar question – If Imran Khan aspires to act in a Hollywood film?

Imran Khan gave a surprising, yet sensible response to that – “I absolutely have no interest in working in Hollywood. I think the Indian actors get to be the nurse, someone who repairs the computer or hero’s roommate etc., I think the Hollywood filmmakers don’t write good roles for Indians” he said, while speaking to PTI.

This was the view despite many great Indian stars like Naseeruddin Shah, Amitabh Bachchan, Irrfan Khan and Anil Kapoor have previously willingly gone out of their star element to play a role in the international scene.

Every actor will make a choice that is correct for them. The kinds of roles that are offered to Indian actors are not very interesting. With no disrespect to anyone I think one gets to do a glorified special appearance. So no interest. I am very happy to work in India” Imran added.

As to whether Imran will play a good role when offered by Hollywood makers, the star said that he would love to, but it is unlikely for that to happen. He expressed that Hollywood guys come to Indian actors only when they have to sell their film in Hindi.

Imran has rendered his voice for Hindi dubbing for Blu, a character in Rio 2. Dubbing for an animated film was fun for the actor.

“It was a little odd because normally when you are dubbing, you are seeing your own face. You have to match it to the timing. The first day I had to guess when to move my lips and when to speak so it matches correctly” he said.

Happening actress Sonakshi Sinha and the chocolate boy sensation, Imran Khan, had some chilidish fun as they launched the Hindi version trailer of Rio 2.
Rio, which is a favourite Hollywood animation film among children, got a lot of attention when released in India. The makers of the film have dubbed the movie into a Hindi version so that kids of all sections can watch and enjoy the movie.

Sonakshi and Imran looked every bit like kids themselves as they had some innocent fun at the trailer launch. The actors have also contributed for the dubbed version – both Sonakshi and Imran have lent their voices in Hindi for the celebrated characters, Macaws Jewel and Blu, adding more value to the audience.

The film will be released in 3 D version so that the young audience can have some real life experience with the movie. Both Sonakshi and Imran have tried on their 3 D glasses at the event, sending in some splits from the on lookers.
Both the actors have sung few melodious lines in the film that will be a highlight factor.

Sonakshi, who is chock a block busy with as many as three films in her kitty, is soon racing for the numerouno spot this year. All the films being commercial flicks and essentially with big stars, the minimum guarantee heroine is now the toast of Bollywood.
Imran Khan, on the other hand, has been taking it easy with films off late. The actor is still listening to viable scripts for him to portray him in meaningful roles and not rushing with the madness of the current flicks.

Rio 2 will release in its Hindi version on April 11th in India.
