Miss World Manushi Chillar said that she would love to work in an Aamir Khan film as the superstar is known to make socially-relevant movies. Manushi was recently crowned Miss World 2017 at a grand event held in Sanya, China.

Manushi said, “I’ll definitely want to work in an Aamir Khan film. I think he has some really challenging roles that he gives you. At the same time, his movies have a message and a connect to the society. So it’ll be very interesting to do. In the actresses, my favorite is Priyanka Chopra.”

Interestingly, the coveted title was last won by Priyanka for India in 2000, just a year after Yukta Mookhey brought the crown home.

Manushi, a 20-year-old medical student from Haryana, had won Femina Miss India World 2017 in May this year. When asked if she has Bollywood plans up next, she said the film industry was not on her mind right now.

“I am very excited how this year will turn out. I’ll be traveling, visiting continents. We will be spreading awareness about menstrual hygiene where I’ll be joined by my other Miss World sisters. That’s what I am excited about right now. Bollywood is something which isn’t on my mind as of now. I really can’t say anything about it,” she added.

After running into trouble with Central Board of Film Certification, Balaji honcho Ekta Kapoor is planning to turn towards the web, in order to put out more adult content. This comes on the back of Ken Ghosh’s movie XXX, which she was producing, getting into trouble with the CBFC.

A source close to Balaji films said, “After no help from the certification board, Ekta has planned to launch a new web channel to produce adult content. Ekta seems to have cracked the code to putting out good ‘adult’ content using the web. Previously, Ken, who claimed he was trying to level up explicit content in Bollywood was left shocked at the board’s reaction to it.

While, the board had asked the makers to re-edit the film and reapply for certification, there doesn’t seem to be a ray of hope for the movie so far. It’s to be seen if Ekta, taking XXX as the starting point, can capture the web market for adult content as well.

However, with no limitations from Censor board, Ekta decided to show the bold erotic content and this made many heroes falling into personal troubles with their real time life partners.

In the wake of the surgical strikes carried out by India, a decision has been taken to stop the screening of Bollywood films in Pakistan.

Even though the Pakistan government didn’t officially order this, the film exhibitors themselves took this decision keeping in mind the tense atmosphere between the two nations. Hindi films will only be screened in the neighboring nation after normalcy returns. The latest Dhoni biopic is the first film to get affected in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) has also passed a resolution banning all Pak artists and technicians from working in Indian films.

This resolution doesn’t apply to the films already made or the ones on floors but for all the new films. More than the actors, the move is expected to hamper the prospects of Pakistani singers since Bollywood is filled with them.

The prestigious production house Eros International has announced that it is going to produce a sequel to the 2001 political thriller ‘Nayak’ Eros will be teaming up with Deepak Mukut’s Soham Rockstar Entertainment for the film. Rajamouli’s father KV Vijayendra Prasad who penned the stories for Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijan is going to script this sequel. The makers revealed that the sequel would have new characters along with retaining the old ones. “Nayak,” which starred Anil Kapoor and Rani Mukerji in the lead roles, was the remake of South director Shankar’s successful Tamil film “Mudhalvan.”

“Nayak created ripples on its release and was one of the most successful political satires of its time. It’s the apt time to plan the sequel in the current political milieu.” said Sunil Lulla, MD of Eros. More details about the film will be revealed soon.

Telugu beauty Sobhita Dhulipala, who won the Femina Miss India-Earth crown in 2013, is all set to make her Bollywood debut with the upcoming dark crime thriller ‘Raman Raghava 2.0’.

For the starters, Sobhita Dhulipala’s family hails from Tenali in Guntur district. She was raised in Visakhapatnam before her family moved to Mumbai. After entering the glamor industry, she hit headlines by clinching the Femina Miss India-Earth crown in 2013.

Now, we hear that Mehrene has been roped in by Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma for her new production venture titled ‘Phillauri’. As the film is set in Punjab backdrop, the makers zeroed in on Mehrene owing to her Punjabi roots. They were also impressed with Mehreen’s experience in modeling and her successful stint in Tollywood.

Mehreen has to adjust her dates as her both Telugu films will start rolling shortly. Anushka will collaborate with Fox Star Studios to produce Phillauri, which will be launched in April.

Apparently Salman Khan is reported of planning to launch one of his long time Bodyguard Shera’s son in Bollywood.

It is no new for Salman Khan for launching many heroes and heroines. The recent example is Sooraj Pancholi, who is the son of Salman’s close friend Aditya Pancholi. Along with Sooraj, launch was also Athiya Shetty, daughter of Sunil Shetty was also launched. Sunil Shetty happens to be a close one to Salman Khan. These two new faces were launched with the film ‘Hero’ that was released recently.

Australian PM Tony Abbott recently announced in Media, that Brett Lee will be seen in a full-fledged role in a Bolly flick. Previously Brett has done cameos, but now it is a full-role. The movie is a love story where Brett will be seen romancing dusky beauty, Tannishtha Chatterjee.

The release date for Emraan Hashmi starrer and Rensil D’Silva’s directorial ‘Ungli’ has finally been locked. And interestingly the film is likely to clash with Abhishek Bachchan’s All is Well.

The film was earlier reported to release on November 7th, 2014. But Producer Karan Johar broke the news on his Twitter handle yesterday, which read, “Dharma’s next UNGLI directed by Rensil D’Silva to be released on the 5th of December 2014”.

So now with is postponement, the film is likely to clash with Umesh Shukla’s All Is Well, which stars Abhishek Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor and Smriti Irani.

UNGLI will see the sizzling chemistry of Emraan and Kangana Ranaut once again. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt. After weaving his magic on small screen in terms of 24 India (TV series) Rensil finds his way back to the silver screen in terms of Ungli.
