The prestigious production house Eros International has announced that it is going to produce a sequel to the 2001 political thriller ‘Nayak’ Eros will be teaming up with Deepak Mukut’s Soham Rockstar Entertainment for the film. Rajamouli’s father KV Vijayendra Prasad who penned the stories for Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijan is going to script this sequel. The makers revealed that the sequel would have new characters along with retaining the old ones. “Nayak,” which starred Anil Kapoor and Rani Mukerji in the lead roles, was the remake of South director Shankar’s successful Tamil film “Mudhalvan.”
