The IPL has started ten days back and the cricket fever has caught up the entire country within no time. All the eight teams are going neck to neck in order to claim the title of the 12th edition of the biggest T20 cricket league in the world. One of them is Sunrisers Hyderabad, headed by Kane Williamson.

Sunrisers have started off their campaign very well by registering two wins in their first three games. Baahubali 2’s Tamil Nadu distributor, S Rajarajan, and his banner K Productions have been served the legal notices by the film’s producers, Arka Media Works. The latter filed a case as Rangarajan has failed to clear the dues which are on hold for the last two years.

As per the sources, Rajarajan owes a total amount of Rs. 177 crores to Arka Media Works and he hasn’t cleared them even after the two years’ of film’s release. At one, he gave a cheque to Arka, but it bounced due to the insufficient funds in the account. Meanwhile, Rajarajan has continued to produce films.

His latest film, Sindhubad, starring Vijay Sethupathi, is gearing up for a release in May. Arka Media Works had earlier filed a case in Hyderabad City Court and the judiciary order Rajarajan to clear the dues by February 26, or else he has to attach the details of his bank accounts.

We are already well aware that OTT platform giant Netflix is producing a web series as apart of the prestigious franchise, Baahubali. Titled as Baahubali: Before The Beginning, the series is based on the novel “The Rise of Shivagami”, written by Anand Neelakantan. Original makers Ark Mediaworks is also co-producing this flick.

Recently, Netflix has released its upcoming release schedule and it states that Baahubali will release in the year 2021, that is two more years from now. Already, the shoot was started a few months back but it seems that it would take more time to finish the entire series.

Baahubali filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli has refuted reports of working on another magnum opus based on the story of Mahabharata. He said that he is not working on anything right now and currently enjoying his break.

“I am not making Mahabharata. I just said that my dream is to make Mahabharata, but it is a long time to get to that,” said Rajamouli. “I haven’t started anything. I am just taking a break. It will be some time that I will be starting to work on my next project,” he added.

Asked about any plans to come out with another part, Rajamouli said at the moment there is no “further” story to tell. Rajamouli has earlier said that he loves mythological stories as it deals with fantasy. Talking about the characters in Mahabharata, the filmmaker said that he in awe of Karna’s character.

Every year, the IIFM event is organized in the month of August and most acclaimed films will be screened. For the years 2016 and 2017, two Telugu films were selected by the jury of IIFM. they are Baahubali-2 and Pelli Choopulu. Both of these films have made their impact in their own genres. The duo, along with Radeon’s Raja Koduri, will be interacting with numerous CGI experts and also talk about the future of virtual reality as a model for storytelling.

Chiranjeevi will be donning the character of this freedom fighter. As the team has decided to release this flick in Hindi, the name might not get popular for Hindi viewers. So they are thinking about the name Mahavir which rhymes with the magnum opus Baahubali which can grab the attention of Hindi audience. An official confirmation from this movie’s team is awaited.

Ranbir Kapoor has joined the list of admirers of Baahubali star Prabhas. Ranbir was asked about his favorite performer in the recent times, and it turned out to be Prabhas, who has earned worldwide fame with his performance in the epic drama.
