Baahubali 2’s Tamil Nadu distributor, S Rajarajan, and his banner K Productions have been served the legal notices by the film’s producers, Arka Media Works. The latter filed a case as Rangarajan has failed to clear the dues which are on hold for the last two years.
As per the sources, Rajarajan owes a total amount of Rs. 177 crores to Arka Media Works and he hasn’t cleared them even after the two years’ of film’s release. At one, he gave a cheque to Arka, but it bounced due to the insufficient funds in the account. Meanwhile, Rajarajan has continued to produce films.
His latest film, Sindhubad, starring Vijay Sethupathi, is gearing up for a release in May. Arka Media Works had earlier filed a case in Hyderabad City Court and the judiciary order Rajarajan to clear the dues by February 26, or else he has to attach the details of his bank accounts.
