Ek Ladki Ko Dekha to Aisa Laga is the upcoming film to hit the screens in the Bollywood film industry. For the first time, Anil Kapoor is going to act alongside his daughter Sonam Kapoor and he is completely excited about the same. The film stars Raj Kumar Rao, Juhi Chawla and others in the key roles.

Apparently, Anil Kapoor is suffering from an ailment to which he is undergoing the treatment. He is said to have Qualification of Shoulder which is related to Shoulder. Anil is suffering a lot of pain because of that and he has arrived a point where the treatment is the only option.

Hence, he flew to Germany and to join a hospital for the treatment. In the past, Anil was not able to allocate dates to the shoots because of the pain. Now, he is keen on eliminating the pain permanently.

Going by the latest buzz in the Bollywood filmnagar, we have come to know that a new biopic is in discussions. It is the biopic of India’s former president APJ Abdul Kalam. Telugu producers Abhishek Aggarwal and Anil Sunkara have announced the project long back but there is an update finally.

As per the buzz, the makers have roped in popular Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor to play the role of Abdul Kalam in the movie. The actor had the narration of the movie and he is yet to take a final call on the same but he is said to have sounded towards doing the project. The producers are also positive that the talented actor will accept their proposal.

Raj Chengappa is preparing the script for the biopic based on the book ‘Weapons of Peace’. The complete details about the project will be out soon.

The last few days have been abuzz with the talks of the Anil Kapoor- Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Fanney Khan. Besides the two, the film also stars the extremely versatile actor Rajkumar Rao. Not many know that the role of Rajkummar Rao in the film had been initially offered to R. Madhavan, who was reportedly very happy with the film’s script and his role in the film. Sadly, his happiness regarding him being a part of the film did not last for long.

It is heard that even though R. Madhavan agreed to be a part of Fanney Khan, the film’s makers faced a stumbling block after they heard his remuneration charges. As per reports, R. Madhavan had asked for an astronomical price of a whopping 1.5 crore for a 15-day shoot, which the film’s makers found it tough to comply since the said remuneration was way beyond their budget. That’s why both the parties (R. Madhavan and the makers of Fanney Khan) mutually decided to part ways.

The makers of Fanney Khan found an immediate replacement of R. Madhavan in the form of Rajkummar Rao, who has won accolades for his acting talent in almost all his films. This was the reason why Fanney Khan will now see Rajkummar Rao playing the love interest of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and not R. Madhavan.

Veteran Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor, who is gearing up to return to the small screen with the second season of 24, has denied the rumors of actress Tabu not doing the TV series due to less remuneration.

Anil Kapoor cleared that there was no monetary issue, but the unit was unable to crack the deal with Tabu due to date issue. He added that there was the unavailability of dates at Tabu as she was already busy with other commitments. However, Anil said that Tabu promised him to act definitely in the next season of the series.

Anil Kapoor went on to say that he is a huge fan of Tabu, and he does not mind paying her ten times to her actual remuneration. Anil Kapoor had in the past romanced Tabu in his hit film ‘Viraasat’.

’24’ season 2 will premiere on July 17.

The surprisingly good first look teaser of the upcoming film ‘Mirzya’ directed by acclaimed Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has been unveiled. Harshvardhan Kapoor, son of veteran actor Anil Kapoor and younger brother of hot actress SonamKapoor, is making his big Bollywood debut with this film having Saiyami Kheras the leading lady. Saiyami Kher, who was seen opposite Sai Dharam Tej in ‘Rey’, is making her Bollywood debut, romancing Harshvardhan in the film.

The first glimpse of Omprakash Mehra’s “Mirzya” will launch the logo of the film with the release of big movies “Bajirao Mastani” and “Dilwale”.

Set in Rajasthan, ‘Mirziya’ is said to be an epic love story inspired by the folk tale of ‘the legend of Mirza – Sahiban’. The first look has impressed with its visual appeal, cinematography and music. It is expected to be action-packed.

Veteran actress Sridevi will pair with her husband brother Anil Kapoor in a sequel of Mr India.

Anil Kapoor and Sridevi starrer path breaking film ‘Mr India’ remains one of the classic films produced by the country. Release in 1987, it was produced by Sridevi’s husband, Boney Kapoor.

Speaking at the 17th Mumbai International Film Festival, renowned writer Javed Akhtar said, ‘I recommend the names of Anil and Sridevi for the sequel of the landmark film that Boney Kapoor has been planning. Only the film has aged but not the leading pair of that iconic film.’

As per reports, for some time, Boney Kapoor has been working to make the sequel but he couldn’t find a solid script.

While many film celebrities of Bollywood willingly postponed their travel to Tampa Bay in order to vote, there are celebs who rushed early for the pre award formalities of IIFA 2014 and had to miss voting for Lok Sabha Elections in the country. These actors cited prior commitment to attend IIFA as an excuse to miss voting.

Actors like Priyanka Chopra, Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Sonakshi Sinha, Shahid Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Abhay Deol and Vivek Oberoi, who earlier spoke about the importance of voting, skipped the day for fun yonder. Actress Deepika Padukone, Malaika Arora, Kalki Koechlin and Yami Gautam are few others who took off early to Florida to concentrate on the event.

IIFA director Sabbas Joseph made a statement to this effect, reasoning out the act of the stars – “Commitments and announcement of the IIFA dates were made many months before the ballot date for Mumbai residents was announced. Contracts were signed and announcements made… Once the show is advertised, it cannot be cancelled or postponed… (it) would cause unimaginable losses.”

Anil Kapoor will soon launch his own venture – an all-purpose entertainment company in Dubai that will cater to different verticals in the industry.

The 57 year old actor, who was recently seen in the popular TV Series 24, will now get into a major arena called business.

The company, titled as Antila Ventures will be Anil Kapoor’s biggest project with headquarters in Dubai.

Speaking to Gulf News, the actor shared few details – “This entertainment company will contain different verticals, ranging from content creation, filmmaking, state-of-art studio, talent management and acquisition to digital media as a getaway to international markets” he said.

When asked about the location selection, Kapoor justified his choice of selection to be overseas. “Given that I already have a presence in Mumbai, Los Angeles and London, today’s landscape is such that no company can be called a global one if it does not have its presence in Dubai. Hence we made sure that we set up an office here”

Anil Kapoor became a renowned name in the Hollywood circles, thanks to his cameo role in Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol and Danny Boyle’ s Slumdog Millionaire. The actor is constantly making trips to LA, rubbing shoulders with the Hollywood’s finest. Interestingly Ghost Protocol was extensively shot at Burj Khalifa, the world’s largest tower in Dubai.

The multi-faceted actor is known for his incredible sense of business acumen and his ability to dabble in films and entrepreneurship both at the same time. Anil Kapoor is pretty excited about his new venture in Dubai. The man is willing to step out of the comfort zone and take those risks.
