Senior Telugu film writer Vijayendra Prasad, who garnered nationwide recognition by providing stories for blockbusters ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, has revealed that he is working on the biopic of Tenzing Norgay.

We have seen biopics of several athletes but here comes the biopic of the man, who was the first person to scale the Mount Everest. Norgay also scaled several other peaks during his career. Vijayaendra Prasad revealed that he is writing a script to bring Norgay’s life onto the silver screen. It will be a big budget adventure film.

‘I am also writing sequels for ‘Nayak’ (the Hindi remake of Arjun’s ‘Oke Okkadu’), Rowdy Rathore (remake of Vikramarkudu) and a story about the life of a man affected during the Babri Masjid demolition. The prestigious production house Eros International has announced that it is going to produce a sequel to the 2001 political thriller ‘Nayak’ Eros will be teaming up with Deepak Mukut’s Soham Rockstar Entertainment for the film. Rajamouli’s father KV Vijayendra Prasad who penned the stories for Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijan is going to script this sequel. The makers revealed that the sequel would have new characters along with retaining the old ones. “Nayak,” which starred Anil Kapoor and Rani Mukerji in the lead roles, was the remake of South director Shankar’s successful Tamil film “Mudhalvan.”

“Nayak created ripples on its release and was one of the most successful political satires of its time. It’s the apt time to plan the sequel in the current political milieu.” said Sunil Lulla, MD of Eros. More details about the film will be revealed soon.

As per latest reports, Vijayendra Prasad has penned another story in the backdrop of Babri Masjid demolition, which happened some 25 years ago. Vijayendra Prasad will direct this movie with Bollywood star hero Ajay Devgn playing lead role.

The film has been titled Kabir, and we heard that it will not feature any controversial scene to instigate communal disharmony. The film will showcase a common man’s act of valor in the times of violence and the film will be produced by the Censor Board chief Pahlaj Nihalani.

Popular Tollywood Writer, father of SS Rajamouli- Mr. Vijayendra Prasad has been freed from a cheque bounce case that was reported on him recently. Payakaraopeta MLA runner-up Changala Venkata Rao has filed a defamation case over Vijayendra Prasad for a cheque bounce. Yellamanchili JFCM court has stirked off the case that was lodged in the past.

Cine Producer Ex-MLA up Changala Venkata Rao received a cheque of Rs 30 Lakh in 2011. This cheque bared the name of Andhra Bank. With this cheque being bounced, Venkata Rao filed a case in the court of JFCM in Yellamanchili. After four years of prosecution the court headed by Judged Narayana gave the verdict in favour of Vijayendra Prasad as the plaintiff could provide necessary proof’s that go against the defendant.

Though the verdict should have come on Wednesday, Vijayendra Prasad, who didn’t attend the court made the judge reserve the verdict for the next day. With Prasad being ordered to visit court the next day, he along with his lawyers and high court advocates have reached the court on Thursday at 3 PM.

Whether Changala Venkata Rao will appeal in High Court is still to be known.
