Director Koratala Siva who has only tasted success till now is going to direct this young hero. It is already known that Koratala Siva is currently busy preparing the script and the pre-production works of his upcoming movie with Megastar Chiranjeevi. As soon as he wraps up this project, he is going to take Vijay’s movie on to sets. Even in the pre-release event of ‘NOTA’ Koratala stated that he doesn’t know which kind of script to prepare for Vijay but will definitely write an interesting story for him. It seems like Koratala is not only preparing the script for Chiru but also busy with Vijay’s movie as well. If the buzz is to be believed, then Koratala Siva is going to prepare a different kind of story that matches Vijay’s body language.
This would definitely be a biggest opportunity for Vijay to work under a star director. He also has a couple of projects in his hand right now. After wrapping up his commitments, he will start Koratala’s project.

Makers are confident about the film and they are planning to release it on November 16th. Trade talk about the film is also good.
A song from Vijay’s previous film Geeta Govidndham ‘Inkem Inkem Kaavale’ reached 100 million views on YouTube and becomes the most viewed song in South India so far. “Maate Vinadhu ga” lyrical song is trending on YouTube. It reached 2 million views till now. Jakes Bejoy tuned this song and Sid Sriram who sang ‘Inkem Inkem kavale’ gave his vocals for this song.
Priyanka Jalwankar and Malavika Nair pairing up with Vijay Devarakonda for this film. Rahul Sankrityan took the directional responsibilities and producer SKN is producing this project.
The second schedule of Vijay Devarakonda starrer, ‘Dear Comrade’ movie started on Monday in Thondangi. Rashmika Mandanna who romanced Vijay in blockbuster ‘Geeta Govindam’ movie teamed up with him again for this film.

Bharat Kamma who used to be the assistant director of a Yeleti Chandrashekar is making his directorial debut with this film. The production giant Mythri Movie Makers collaborated with Big Ben Cinema to bankroll this project. The first schedule of the movie took place for 40 days in Thondangi and Kakinada. But because of Vijay’s previous commitments, the shooting got halted and got resumed from Monday. Senior actor and national award winner Charuhasan also attended the shoot. So many people who live nearby came to watch the shooting.

Story
Vijay Devarakonda and Mehreen in NOTA
Varun (Vijay Deverakonda) is a reckless and arrogant son of Chief minister Vasudev (Nassar). Due to the corruption charges on Vasudev, he decides to make his son Varun as interim CM. Despite being sworn in as CM, Varun continues to be that rich spoilt brat as he don’t like that post and he only wants to enjoy his life. He takes drugs, enjoys with girls and he does everything a guy in his youth do. Vasudev gets convicted and riots start in the state and it leaves state in a worst place. Varun gets hurt and takes responsibility for an incident that disturbed him. He orders Police to take action against them and there aries a situation where father and son become rivals and their game to the power is the rest of the story.
Cast and performance
Vijay Deverakonda as CM and reckless youth is superb. He nails in his two different shades of his role. Nassar is nice in his role as father and CM who is well versed in the wits and political games. Sathyaraj is fantastic in his role as journalist. Mehreen Pirzaada is okay and Sanjana Natarajan is good. A R Murugadoss surprises in a cameo. Every other actor has given their best efforts to make their roles come alive.
Writing Department
NOTA Telugu Movie Review
The story of NOTA is simple and it looks more of a vague picture of Tamil Nadu politics. Screenplay is written in a okayish way and dialogues are just okay.
Technical Departments
Songs composed by Sam CS are not so catchy as we expected and they sound more like songs of dubbed movie than a bilingual. The music director has done a terrific job in composing background score which helped the movie in a big way. Shantha Kumar has done tremendous work to shoot some fantastic visuals. He scores well in his department and elevate overall feel of the movie with the visuals. Editing could have been much better by Raymond. Art department has done good work and production values are rich and apt.

NOTA is a political game between a good guy who want to do good to people and a corrupt leader but within the same family. This feels more like a game of thrones in politicals. A lot of first half is taken to setup the base of story and to introduce characters and towards the end of this half we gets into the actual story. Second half starts with a huge expectations in audience minds and in actual it runs on flat note. This movie has a lot of Tamil nativity and it makes us (Telugu audience) disconnected. After the blockbuster of Geetha Govindham, Vijay Deverakonda has become big and this NOTA should be the legacy of that power. But due to the content and the pace it becomes a disappointment.
