Directors Mohan Raja, Koratala Siva, and Meher Ramesh, producers and technicians have attended the puja ceremony. Mohan Raja will be directing the Telugu remake of Malayalam Lucifer with Chiranjeevi as a lead hero. Lucifer is the 153rd film for Chiranjeevi.

The Telugu film chamber of commerce has taken this decision and also requested the other south film industries to extend their support this bandh. Already Tamil Nadu Madigar’s Sangam extended their support for the same and reveal their friendly gesture.
The digital service providers are charging 20 thousand rupees for the digital production which is actually high and also creating a huge loss for producers and theatre management. The producers have requested providers to decrease the fee, but they are not giving attention to this demand.
As a result, having left with no other option except to go on a strike, the producers have finally taken this decision. The discussions are going on, but still, we have to wait few more days for the final decision.

Telugu TV Artists Association has called for a complete ban on Telugu dubbed serials, which have invaded the Telugu TV Channels.
A meeting of TV artists was held at Film Chamber in Hyderabad on this Sunday. Noted filmmaker Tammareddy Bharadwaja attended the event along with several TV artists. They alleged that Telugu artists and technicians are finding it tough to get work as most of the leading Telugu TV channels are telecasting only dubbed serials.
A movement against dubbed serials was initiated a few years ago and as a result, the management promised to stop telecasting dubbed serials, but it was not implemented. The Association has now warned the TV channels of starting another movement if they don’t stop the invasion of dubbed serials.

This little known Telugu film is slated for release on July 23rd just a day after superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’ hits screens. Makers have organized a press meet and announced that they would offer Rs 1 lakh cash prize to the person who comes to them claiming the film is not good, of course after watching it. They didn’t disclose the terms and conditions, though.
One must see the film first and then explain to the makers why they didn’t like it.

Nagarjuna’s father and late legendary actor Nageswara Rao is well known for his romantic acts. He never shied away from playing pranks with his co-stars, off-screen. Yesteryear heroine Sumalatha, in one of her recent interviews, revealed that Nageswara Rao asked her to marry his son, Nagarjuna.
Sumalatha said, ‘On a fine day when I was shooting, Nageswara Rao sir came to me and said that he had selected a perfect guy for me who will soon come from Foreign. He even assured to talk with my parents if I agree. When I questioned, who that man was, he said it was his son, Nagarjuna, who was yet to become an actor then’.
Sumalatha, however, didn’t say if she had accepted the proposal or not.
“Super Rhymes” is the Tollywood’s upcoming children’s movie. Directed by Ram Reddy Pannala, this film is said to be made for the children. This film is produced by Vaajidh Khan under the banner of Excel Film production, and this movie team has recently launched the poster and audio from the hands of Additional Superintendent of Police Satyanarayana in Hyderabad.
During this launch event, the filmmakers of “Super Rhymes” said that “This film is made with a new theme and design for young children and we are going to launch the trailer within 15 days followed by it the movie will also be released.”
