The forthcoming Nadigar Sangam elections are taking interesting twists and turns. After the verbal war between the two rival groups, now police cases are being filed on each another.

The incumbent president Sarath Kumar is leading one team while actor Vishal is leading another group. They have been making serious allegations on one another ever since the poll campaigning has commenced. Recently actor Simbu has made criticizing comments against Vishal.

Sarath Kumar has now filed a criminal case against Vishal alleging that the actor made numerous false allegations and accusations against him. In response to this, Vishal has also stated that he will as well file a criminal case on Sarath Kumar soon. Nadigar Sangam elections also turning as like MAA elections.

18th October is the poll day. Till then, fireworks will be blazing for sure.

Nayantara and Simbu enjoyed good time few years back. They were considered as the hottest South Indian pair 5 years back. Unfortunately, few things happened and the pair went for break up. Before break up, few images of Simbu – Nayantara came on to the internet.

These includes lip lock scenes and hugging episodes. Few stated that this leakage of images turned out to be the reason for the break up. Now, similar images are out into the media once again. These images got leaked into the social media sites and it has Nayantara and Simbu in bedroom scenes.

Speaking on this, Nayantara explained that these images are not real. She stated that they are part of her upcoming Kollywood venture. She further stated that she is not in a mood to go for a relationship with Simbu. Fans, who got excited seeing the bedroom photos felt depressed with the statement of Nayantara.

Actor Silambarasan aka Simbu aka STR, has a loyal fan following and quite a standing in the industry, but he has also had a tumultuous personal life with many public relationships which hit rough patches and came to sad ends right in front of people’s eyes.

So it came as a surprise to many when the actor actually gave a very candid interview recently in which he spoke openly about several aspects of his life as it is now.

“I dreamt of being the next Superstar. I wanted to be like Rajini sir,” says the young superstar known for his energetic vibe and play boyish lifestyle, “but not anymore.”

It is not unheard of for actors to embrace the spiritual side of things, with the very colourful life they lead as celebrities and the revealing craft they have chosen to make their bread and butter. It seems Simbu is no different, though this is a very young age for the actor to switch to the path of illumination, to say the least. Good for you, STR!

But has the calm of spirituality extinguished the fire of being an artist? Well, looks like it hasn’t.

Recently there was a big furore about Simbu’s new hairstyle and how many people speculated it would affect the visual continuity of the film he is currently shooting for – Idhu Namma Aalu, directed by Pandiraj.

“That hairstyle was specifically prepared for the final leg of the shooting. I wanted to shout, ‘That’s my film. What’s your problem’?” Exclaims the star.
So clearly the spirituality hasn’t completely taken effect yet, one assumes…sigh.

Idhu Namma Aalu stars Simbu opposite his ex flame Nayantara. It is being produced by the actor’s father T Rajender and also has his brother Kuralarasan making his debut as a composer.

Simbu’s Vaalu trailer, that is the full length one, is coming out tomorrow and will be screened along with Dhanush’s Velai Illa Pattathaari (VIP), but now we have a leaked review from sources which gives the trailer two thumbs up!

Yes, apparently the movie is all the things the fans will want to see and more. Yes folks, ‘Mass’ is the word used to describe the trailer and by extension the movie, one supposes.

The comedy masala entertainer, directed by Vijay Chander, has the right mix of ingredients including cool punch dialogues, light hearted banter between Simbu and Santhaanam and the quintessential popcorn muncher of a romance that will warm your heart.

The usual criticism aimed at Silambarasan as an actor is that he caters to a very niche audience which comprises of his fans, with his over the top characterizations of the roles he does and with the crackling, somewhat corny energy which has sort of become his signature style.

But Vaalu, it seems is for the masses at large and not just the diehard Simbu fan community. It is toned down and has the flavours to entertain everyone without disappointing those who expect to see Simbu being himself as well.

Hansika is bubblier than ever and is practically overflowing with her vivacious energy and those doe eyed, girl next door charms.

The comedy scenes in the movie will surely have you rocking in your seats with a series of well paced bursts of laugh out loud moments, or so the sources say given the vibe of the trailer.

There are little industry references in the trailer too, so pay attention or you might miss it.

In any case, come tomorrow, you will all get to see the trailer and get to make the decision yourself.

Yes, it seems the makers of the Simbu – Nayantara starrer are trying to rope in the actress for a playing a second female lead in the movie. But it remains unclear whether Taapsee will give her okay for this project.

Apparently, director Pandiraj and producer T Rajendar decided on Taapsee after going through a lengthy list of names to play the role. They reportedly considered actresses like Sanchita Shetty and Nanditha.

They settled on Taapsee finally because of one particular reason. They have plans to release dubbed version of the movie later, especially in Telugu. Taapsee is one actress who has a popularity across multiple industries and this would help the producers sell the dubbing rights or so they say.

Now the question whether Taapsee will green light the whole thing is because the role is after all that of a secondary character to Nayantara’s lead, and it is unclear how the actress will make her decision as her career graph is looking up these days as she has certain interesting projects in her kitty.

She is currently starring in the upcoming Hindi movie Runningshaadi.com.

Idhu Namma Aaalu would be a good project to be associated with though as it has quite a few things going for it. Not only is the flick featuring the reunion of Nayantara and Simbu on screen after 8 long years, it also has Simbu’s brother Kuralarasan debuting as a composer.

There are a few interesting things like candid shots of Nayantara being used in song sequences and such which has also drawn attention to the movie and help build up its hype.

With Dhanush making a name for himself in Bollywood, it was only inevitable that others follow suit and it seems the one to take the leap of faith is none other than Silambarasan aka Simbu!

The story is by cinematographer turned director Thiru who pitched the story to Simbu, who, according to sources, loved it so much that he immediately green lit the project and now the plan for the duo is to make the flick in Bollywood.

Simbu reportedly feels this would be the perfect launch for him in B-town, and would gain him a strong footing among the audience base who might otherwise not know him from his work in Kollywood.

It is unknown at this point if this project will take off after he finishes Pandiraj’s Idhu Namma Aalu, which has almost wrapped up, or after the Gautham Menon project which has already been subjected to a lot of delays.

Idhu Namma Aalu is a highly anticipated one which stars Simbu along with Nayantara after a long while – 8 years to be exact – and is being produced by his father and veteran actor/film maker T Rajendar. The film also features the debut of his brother Kuralarasan as a composer.

Kuralarasan managed to rope in Yuvan Shankar Raja to sing one song and also scored a tune which will feature the vocal talents of Simbu, T Rajendar and himself.

Supposedly, Nayantara and Simbu buried the hatchet for this one, so to speak, and have been working on very comfortable terms. It was, however, reported that the highly sought after diva did land a huge paycheque for her performance.

Now we wait for further developments on Simbu’s journey to the world of Hindi cinema!

Director Pandiraj is obviously all for different movie making and, maybe along the way, capitalize a bit on the whole Simbu – Nayantara angle… for the good of the movie of course!

It seems the film maker has filmed some candid shots of Nayantara talking to Simbu over the phone or casually (in person?) and he plans to use this footage in one of the song sequences in the flick.

The film, already is hyped up due to the reuniting of Simbu and Nayan on screen after 8 long years, and the fact that the ex – lovers are working together is cause for much excitement in the fan communities of both actors.

Idhu Namma Aalu has the entire Rajendar family behind it, as Simbu’s father and veteran film actor T Rajendar is the producer, while Simbu’s brother Kuralarasan is the music composer for the film.

Kuralarasan has also, according to sources, roped in Yuvan Shankar Raja to sing a western flavored, pop infused love song in the movie. And not to stop there, another song in the movie will feature the vocals of both the Rajendar siblings and their father.

Silambarasan had announced earlier on that most of the portions of the film had already been shot, so the movie will soon be heading in to the post production stages.

Nayantara has been showered with praise over this film already, not for her performance, but for her professionalism in burying the hatchet, so to speak, with Simbu and working with him again cordially and maybe even on friendly terms. After all, the couple had gone through a very public break up a few years back.

There are rumours beginning to surface, not surprisingly, that maybe this movie will lead to the couple getting back together in real life.

To that we say… only time will tell.

The upcoming Simbu starrer Idhu Namma Aalu is notable for many reasons – chief among them, of course, being the onscreen combo of Nayanthara and Simbu after 8 long years. The ex couple have re united giving due respect to their chosen profession and burying the hatchet, so to speak, to once more thrill the fans.

But that’s certainly not all that’s intriguing about this flick, directed by Pandiraj.

For one, Simbu’s brother Kuralarasan has turned music director in this one, and he has also managed to rope in Yuvan Shankar Raja, the young maestro himself, to sing a westernized, pop flavoured love song. Kuralarasan also composed a folksy song for the soundtrack of the film.

Another song in the movie is to be sung by the newbie composer himself along with his brother Simbu and their father, the ever so energetic veteran T Rajendran, who also just happens to be the producer of the film!

The entire Rajendar family and an ex girlfriend who is one of the major stars in the south, all packed in to one mass entertainer of a film for your pleasure.

Simbu today announced through the social media that almost 90 percent of the talkie portions of the movie had already been shot, including two of the songs. So it looks like Idhu Namma Aalu will be hitting theatres soon enough and the fans will get their voice in there somewhere as well..

Actor Silambarasan aka Simbu aka STR, has quite a loyal fan base among Kollywood audiences and it looks like they are always ready and willing to go that extra mile to support or defend their hero – though one might argue things went a bit too far this time for sure.

Simbu had watched the Rajnikanth epic animated flick Kochadaiiyaan like millions of others aorund the world and being quite involved in the social media, he thought it best to tweet his opinions of the movie after watching it. He does, have quite a few people following him on Twitter after all, and while the star gave more or less a positive feedback about the film, he did point out that obvious fact, like many others before him – the graphics or the CGI were not up to Hollywood standards.

Now while this has been a much mentioned criticism of Kochadaiiyaan, one wonders why an actor who knows the whole process thought it best to summarize it in a tweet to be read by thousands.

Anyway, Soundarya Ashwin, the director of Kochadaiiyaan, didn’t make a big deal out of the critiquing and simply said thank you – then.

But later, when she was on a TV show (Coffee with DD on Vijaya TV) in a much hyped visit, she was asked about Simbu’s comment.. well, not directly but she was asked what she would like to say to five people – and in particular Simbu. Soundarya perhaps thought this the ideal chance for a friendly comeback to the actor’s criticism and said “Simbu, don’t sing. Stop it.”

Well, needless to say that didn’t go over very well with the numerous Simbu fans who were watching and thus began the, practically immediate, abuse of Soundarya on Twitter. Evidently, things escalated to such an extent that Simbu himself had to send out this tweet:

Everyone has their rite to comment about anyone …request fans to stop this abusive aprroach … Pls treat others the same way u treat me.

This prompted Soundarya to tweet out too and inform the fans at large that there were no hard feelings between Simbu and her, and that they were childhood friends.
While this has calmed most of the agitated STR admirers for now, it remains to be seen if there is going to be any long term bad blood – the public may move on quickly but they hardly ever forget, especially insults to their idols.

Actor Silamabarasan, or Simbu as he is better known, is Kollywood’s favorite tabloid personality and for good reason, with his high profile relationships with some gorgeous starlets in the past. Well, the diplomatic young star didn’t exactly name her in the tweet that has gone viral; but he does speak of missing buying his ‘girlfriend’ gifts as he returned from travel.

Clearly, the actor remains bitter sweet about their break up but if history has proven anything, it’s that Simbhu bounces back pretty soon. So now, the single actor is on the ‘market’ again and is surely set to grab the gossip headlines with his stormy love life.

However, giving credit where credit is due, Simbhu is a consummate professional and even after the break up, he worked with Hansika in Vaalu in which they play the leads, though according to sources, they maintained their distance from each other.

News is that the seductress Nayanthara has re-united with her former lover. Though she rubbished these rumours a few weeks back, sources close to her say otherwise.

At the birthday party of Hottie Trisha in Chennai, she was spotted cozying up to her ex-boyfriend Simbu.

The birthday party took place on 4th May. Going by the pictures which have gone viral in the media, Nayanthara is definitely back to romancing Simbu.

The curvaceous Mallu siren is often seen hanging out with Simbu, giving scope for the media to conclude that the love is re-ignited between the both of them.

Earlier there are rumours that Nayantara was the cause for Simbu-Hansika’s breakup. With such images from Trisha’s birthday party, we cannot help but believe that there might be some truth to that story.

Though Nayanthara has always denied all these stories tagging them as ‘rumours’, reliable sources have been emphasising on the fact that she may get married to the actor soon.

Earlier, Nayanthara and Simbu were together before breaking up and getting into a relationship with Prabhu Deva and Hansika respectively.

‘I’ve always acted with my ex-girlfriends . I do not see any issue with that. My love for them is the same at all points of time, but it is their hearts that are getting changed’, he stated.

When the question of her take on working with ex-boyfriends was asked to Hansika, she replied saying, “I’m working for my director and producer, but not for the sake of hero Simbu. It’s my responsibly to wrap this project”.

Well, the couple seems to be at loggerheads ever since they broke up midway on the sets of the very movie who’s song they are shooting right now.

If the rumours are true, then Selvaraghavan’s next Kollywood flick starring the winning combination of Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya, Silambarasan and Trisha Krishnan might launch on April 25th.

The director is busily on the search for the auspicious time and soon the project will be on its way.

Though he has never directed Simbu, he did work with Trisha in the Tollywood film ‘Aadavari Matalaku Ardhale Verule’. The director has roped in Yuvan Sankar Raja for the music in the movie, who he has worked with on previous Tamil projects like Kaadhal Kondein, 7-G Rainbow Colony and Pudhupettai. So, given the track record of the composer, the tunes are sure to get attention in the near future.

Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya was a runaway hit and there is much to be expected from the charismatic duo of Simbu and Trisha, once again sharing the screen together. Although much is not known about the plot and other details of the movie like supporting cast, all will be surely be revealed once the ‘pooja’ has taken place.
