Bollywood heroine Shilpa Shetty is a happy person in her life. She proved to be a successful businesswoman after the marriage and is leading a great life with husband Raj Kundra. Meanwhile, the speculations in the media reveal that the couple is heading towards a divorce. The news spread virally on the media but finally, it was proved as a prank executed by popular filmmaker Anurag Basu.

Going more into the details, Anurag Basu, Shilpa Shetty and Geetha Kapoor are acting as judges for the reality show Super Dancer 3. Anurag Basu took Shilpa’s phone without her notice and sent a text to Shilpa’s mom informing that she is going to take divorce.

Shilpa’s mom immediately called Shilpa to enquire the actual details behind this. Shilpa was initially confused but later Geetha Kapoor revealed the prank played by Anurag. Shilpa then informed her mother the same and asked her not to worry.

Shilpa Shetty is a noted actor in the Indian film industry who does not need any introduction. She is also a businesswoman who now landed in legal trouble with an automobile agency owner, Parhad Amra. Parhad Amra has filed a legal complaint against Shilpa, Shilpa’s mother Sunanda Shetty and Shilpa’s sister Shamita Shetty.

He alleges that the family failed to repay the amount that Shilpa’s father borrowed from him. He stated that he has given 21 lakhs to Shilpa’s father who is no more now. He promised to repay the amount with interest by January 2017 which never happened.

Parhad is claiming that Shilpa and all the other family members were very well about the same including the other transactions made by Shilpa’s dad. The court hearing is pending and the Shetty family will be appearing in front of the court on 26th.

Revealing her experience, she said, “Travelling from Sydney to Melbourne and at the check in counter met a grumpy #Mel ( that’s her name)who decided it was “OK” to speak curtly to “US” ( Brown people!!) travelling together ,I was flying business and had 2 bags (my allowance)and she insisted and decided my half empty Duffel bag was oversized( to check in!!) So she sent us to check it in at the other counter dealing with “Oversized luggage” ..there a Polite lady(yes this one was) said ..”this ISN’T an oversized bag, pls check this in manually if u can at another counter” ( all this happening while the counter is going to shut in 5 mins) As the manual check in wasn’t going thru for 5 mins( we tried) I went upto #Mel and requested her to put the bag thru as her colleague said it wasn’t an oversized bag.. She refused again.. Just being adamant especially when I told her this is causing a lot of inconvenience .. We had no time to waste so we ran to the oversized baggage counter and requested her to put the bag through which she did after I told her that #Rude #Mel had issues !!!…. to which another colleague joined in an reiterated my duffle wasn’t oversized and could’ve easily been checked in.”

The enforcement directorate officers have filed a money laundering case on Raj Kundra in regarding with BitCoin case. The ED officers did the investigation and filed a case. Amit Bharadwaj who is the prime accused in the case is also arrested by the police officers. The ED officers realized that Raj Kundra did a lot of events for investments in Dubai and other countries. The ED officers carried out an investigation for almost ten hours.

The National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) has sought a reply from the Information and Broadcasting Ministry and the police commissioners of Delhi and Mumbai over complaints against Bollywood actor Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty for allegedly using derogatory language against the Scheduled Castes in TV shows.

Salman had allegedly used the word during the promotion of his film Tiger Zinda Hai, while referring to his dancing skills. Shilpa had reportedly used the word to describe how she looks at home.

The NCSC has asked to file a reply on the action taken against the actors as per the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Prevention of Atrocities Act, 2015, within a week. The commission issued the notice after it received a complaint from an ex-chairman of the Delhi Commission for Safai Karamcharis, Harnam Singh.

In his complaint, Singh said that the actors used the word ‘bhangi’ in TV shows which clearly insults the entire Valmiki community of the world.

The Maharashtra police registered a FIR against Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra in Thane’s Bhiwandi police station in a cheating case. The case revolves around the duo allegedly duping a textile firm owner of Rs 24 lakhs.

“FIR has been registered in Bhiwandi police station against Shetty and Kundra under sections 406 (criminal breach of trust), and 420 (cheating) of IPC,” Deputy Commissioner of Police Manoj Patil was quoted as saying.

The FIR was filed after a Bhiwandi textile unit owner alleged that the couple collected the amount on his behalf but did not pay him, a police official said. Raj and Shilpa have been battling on another front since Best Deal TV temporarily suspended its services in a bid to recuperate from the effects of demonetization. Employees of the Shilpa and Raj owned-home shopping channel have alleged that their dues haven’t been cleared.

Raj Kundra, who continues to be on the board of directors with a 63 percent stake in the company along with Shilpa Shetty Kundra, had sent his resignation via email on December 15. “I would like to officially resign as CEO of Best Deal TV. The shopping portal, which had discontinued advertisements and promotions soon after the suspension in December, has not kicked off services again.
