Confirming the rumours, an official announcement regarding the upcoming project of Ajay Devgan was made today. Ajay Devgan is planning to team up with Neeraj Pandey for a long time. Finally, the combination is making way on to the celluloid soon. The film is titled Chanakya and Ajay Devgan plays the titular role.
Revealing the same, Taran Adarsh tweeted, “IT’S OFFICIAL… Ajay Devgn in #Chanakya… Neeraj Pandey to direct… Produced by Reliance Entertainment and Friday Filmworks’ Plan C Studios… Based on the incredible life and teachings of the greatest political thinker, philosopher, economist and royal advisor Chanakya.”

The script work is completed and the makers are occupied with the pre-production works. If things go well, the shoot will begin by the end of the current year.
