Ram Pothineni is playing the lead role in the upcoming film titled as iSmart Shankar. The film is directed by Puri Jagannath and this is the first time that the actor and director have collaborated on a project. There is a lot of interesting buzz on the social media about the film’s business.

Considering the failure track that the director and actor are currently expressing, the trade is least interested in the movie but the makers are hoping for big numbers. Apparently, the makers are charging almost 20 crores for the theatrical rights of the movie. No buyer is interested in the amount and hence, they are planning to wait till the release of the theatrical trailer.

The film has Nabha Natesh and Nidhi Agerwal as the heroines. Mani Sharma is scoring the music for the movie. The complete details about the project will be out soon.

Director Puri Jagannath is one such director who never shies away from doing what he likes, fearing of his public image. He behaves just like the heroes in his films. Generally, many directors down the South do not prefer to hang out with heroines as they think it would damage their reputation as we are a bit conservative compared to Bollywood.

But Puri is an exception. He might be the one who can bring this Bollywood culture to Hyderabad. His recent picture proves the same. Taken at the wrap-up party of Ismart Shankar in Goa, this picture features Puri standing in between Charmmee and Nidhi Aggerwal wrapping his hands around them.

The picture itself conveys how chilled out Puri is when it comes to handling his stature. Starring Ram as the male lead, Issmart Shankar has almost completed its shoot and is gearing up for a release somewhere in May or June. Apart from Nidhi, it features Nabha Natesh as another heroine.

Post the super success of Baahubali, Prabhas has become a nationwide star and all of his films from now on needs to have a pan Indian appeal. Thus, he is now coming up with action thriller Saaho, which is being made on a budget of Rs. 300 crores and is slated to release on August 15.

Prabhas also started shooting for his other film which is being directed by Radha Krishna of Jil fame. Pooja Hegde is acting as the female lead in it. The movie is expected to release in 2020. After, both these projects, Prabhas might sign a film either with Puri Jagannath or Koratala Siva.

Apparently, both the directors have scripts ready for Prabhas and waiting to narrate it to him. Thus, we might expect one of these films going on to the floors early next year. It seems that Prabhas is planning to release at least one film a year from now on.

Director Puri Jagannath is currently focusing on establishing his son Akash Puri as a bankable actor in the Industry. He made a film called Mehbooba with him last year, which ended up as a disaster. Before that, Akash also faced failure with his debut film as hero, Andhra Pori.

This time, Puri didn’t want his son to face another flop. Thus he planned carefully and after hearing a lot of scripts, he okayed the one narrated by one of his associates, Anil Paduri. The film was launched a few days back by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and the regular shoot is currently underway.

Puri is personally supervising this project, even though he is busy with his own film, Ismart Shankar. The sources claim that he has also decided that from now on, he would be supervising every film that Akash acts in until he settles in as bankable actors in the Telugu film industry.

The other day, Puri Jagannath launched his new movie in a grand manner. The film is titled as iSmart Shankar and the director is collaborating with Ram Pothineni for the first time.

Ram is making plans to work with Puri Jagannath for a long time and the project got confirmed finally. Ram is said to be essaying a dual role in the movie. The film will reveal Ram as a technology expert in the movie.

As per the reports in the media, it is highly speculated that things are not well between the directors Puri Jagannath and Ram Gopal Varma. Puri always considers Ramu as his guru but it seems that both are not in talking terms. Puri is said to have disliked Ramu giving support to Sri Reddy and since then Puri is said to have not in talking terms with his guru. RGV is also said to be staying with some other friend other than Puri with whom he usually stays.

Ram Gopal Varma has come across this media report and he has apparently tweeted the clarification saying, “Fake News..Me and ⁦@purijagan⁩ are as close as we have ever been ”

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 101st film in the direction of Puri Jagannadh was launched today at 10 AM. The film’s pooja ceremony was held at a temple in KPHB in Hyderabad.

Balakrishna, Puri Jagannadh, comedian Ali, director Boyapati, producer Ananda Prasad and others attended the pooja ceremony.

SS Rajamouli directed the first shot and Boayapati Srinu clapped the first shot. Nandamuri Ramakrishna attended the movie launch as Chief Guest. V Anand Prasad, Balakrishna and Puri Jagannadh went through the pooja formalities.

The film will commence its regular shoot next week with an action episode at Aluminium factory. The film is being produced by Bhavya Creations. More details about the movie are awaited.

Puri Jagannadh released the theatrical trailer of Rogue yesterday on Youtube. The trailer is very much interesting in its way. The trailer starts off with the lead actor saying “I Hate Girls.” Later, the trailer reveals the lead characters and some crazy as well as bold girls. Dashing director Puri Jagannadh is gearing up to showcase his singing as well as lyric writing talents alongside his directorial abilities in his upcoming film ‘Ism’.

The audio track list of ‘Ism’ was released and the striking part of the album was finding the name of Puri under two songs as a singer and one song as a lyric writer. Puri not only sang the film’s title song but also penned it, the first ever song for him as a lyric writer. The second song he sang in the film was ‘Yey Yey’.

Puri’s first stint as a singer was for Mahesh Babu’s ‘Businessman’. He had then sung a couple of lines for the film’s theme song ‘Bhaag Saale’. His voice was also heard in the ‘Devuda’ song in ‘Temper’. Puri‘s pen power is already proved in the form of razor sharp dialogues. We need to see if he possesses the same vigor in lyric writing.

Super Star Mahesh Babu is going to entertain the audiences in his next film in the direction of AR Muragadoss.
