Beautiful and talented actress Shruti Hassan, who is busy with films in Tollywood, Kollywood and Bollywood, is reportedly unhappy with the success of recently released Telugu-Tamil blockbuster ‘Oopiri’.

Well, for the starters, Shruti Hassan was the first choice to play the leading lady role in the film essayed finally by Tamannah. Shruti had walked out of the film just one day before the shooting begins alleging the issue of dates. The saucy siren had then waged war with producer PVP, and the issue reached the office of producer’s council. After few bigwigs had intervened, both PVP and Shruti called it quits.

With ‘Oopiri’ releasing the other day and receiving universal acclaim, Shruti is distraught for losing the film. Tamanna is hogging the limelight for her role, and her pairing with Karthi was well received.

Akkineni Nagarjuna is not only an actor with distinct taste but also a producer with good viewpoint. He has complete understanding of Film Production. He is one of the senior actors in TFI, who is not scared of trying new scripts and always does challenging roles. In fact, this attitude made him a ‘King of TFI’.

In a recent media interaction, Nag advised to the youngsters, who wish to make it big in the tinsel town and also heaped praises on Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan. He said that the youngsters should create a image for themselves by choosing unique subjects.

Well, with the strong experience in films, Nag suggested the youngsters in a good way. Meanwhile, Nagarjuna’s latest offering Oopiri, which released today, has been receiving a stupendous response from all over.

Multi Starrers are not too common in our Telugu films. We see two stars coming together for a film very rare. In the good olden days they were so common. For the reason unknown, our Telugu film viewers experience it very rarely. Trend of multi starrers again started with Mahesh Babu and Victory Venkatesh starrer Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu directed by Srikanth Addala produced by Dil Raju. This is again time for a multi starrer with Nagarjuna and Karthi coming together as cast with Thamanna Bhatia in female lead directed by Vamsi Paidipally under PVP Cinema. Story

Seenu (Karthi) is a guy released from jail on parole. He is thrown out of his house by his mother (Jayasudha) about his behaviour putting his siblings career in his her mind. He attends an interview just to pass time and to get shelter. He then appointed as a care taker to Vikram Adithya (Nagarjuna Akkineni), chairman of Vikram Adithyaa group of companies. He is a quadriplegic patient, whose body is more like paralysed leaving his body parts immovable. How he takes care of Vikram?? What is the real reason behind Seenu getting job?? Answers to these questions form the rest of the story.

Cast and Performance

Nagarjuna Akkineni as Vikram Adithya, a quadriplegic patient is a lot more than fantastic. Their is no enough words to match his acting capabilities or his performance in Oopiri. As he was saying in interviews it is definitely a life changing movie for him. Karthi as Seenu is super good and is terrific in his role. He complimented Nagarjuna very well in performance like a brother. Thamanna Bhatia is fantabulous and super beautiful. Jayasudha is superb as a middle class mother. Late Kalpana garu is nice. Prakash Raj did a superb job. Ali is hilarious in his role. Thanikella Bharani is good in his limited role. Other actors did according to their given role. Cameos have been used well.

Writing Department

Story is so simple with a lot of emotions. Screenplay is so engaging and so convincing that audience watch it with a happy emotion on their face and wet eyes. Dialogues are situational and are well written.

Technical Departments

Songs are fresh and breezing to ears. They are well composed putting situations in mind by Gopi Sundar. His background score is what it makes movie more emotional and more engaging. It is spell bounding. Cinematography by P S Vinodh is fantastic. He visuals are added advantage to this fantastic movie. Editing by Madhu is crisp. It is perfect. Race sequence is composed well. Production values are so rich.

Verdict
As the audience are suffocating with lot of so much routine and content less movies, here comes Nagarjuna Akkineni who is striving in his 50’s to do something to Telugu cinema and take it to a next level. He backed up the vision and dream of Vamsi Paidipally to make our audience experience different kind of movies. This movie is so rich in breathtaking emotions and eye moisturizing scenes. When a right script is backed up by a fantastic work by all the cast and crew a film like Oopiri happens. Generally, audience doesn’t accept a star hero having immense charm to be in the shoes of Vikram Adithya, character played by Nagarjuna, but he made it with ease and audience accept him the way he is seen. Definitely, the credit should be given to Vamsi Paidipally for attempting a life changing, daring and unconventional novel script. It is a must watch movie to have some entertaining as well as making your eyes teary sequences and emotions. To sum up, Oopiri is a breath of fresh air into Telugu cinema.

One of the most talked about and much-anticipated treats this summer happens to be Oopiri. This film stars King Akkineni Nagarjuna in the lead role along with Karthi and our very own milky white beauty Tamannaah. The film is directed by Vamshi Paidipally.

So far, the promotion and publicity has been very strong. However, just one day before of its release, Oopiri ran into legal troubles. Going into details, it is already a known fact that Oopiri is a remake of French movie ‘The Intouchables’. Now, the makers of the original movie filed case against the filmmakers in Chennai High Court demanding stay over the film release. The hearing of this case will be out today.

A source close to the unit said that the makers are quite confident that the hearing will be positive, and they will get a favour verdict as they already brought south remake rights of the film. National award winner Gopi Sunder’s tunes are already rocking, and director Vamsi Paidipally is confident over the output of the movie.

But it is indeed a big question whether the film will recover its budget of Rs 60 crores. Well, get ready to witness the celebration of life on big screen tomorrow.
