Four Indian students were arrested in Texas, USA while they were watching Nagarjuna Akkineni, Tamannah and Karthi’s ‘Oopiri’ at a theater.
Apparently, the 4 arrested students were found watching the movie without buying a ticket. They were found by the theater staff who informed the matter to the police. After arresting these students, the local police freed them after imposing a minimal fine.
Apparently, some Indian students often sneak in to watch movies without buying tickets.This arrest has come as a rude shock across Indian students’ community in the US.
Oopiri has become a sensational hit in the US. The drama film has raked in over a million in less than five days and is gearing up to overtake Nagarjuna’s previous record holder Manam ($1.5 million) by its full run.
