Habitually Balayya is a hyperactive personality. His dialogues, dance and fights in movies make the audience lose their mind. While coming to any public functions or celebrity events, he is an alluring personality. He doesn’t care who is watching him and simply enjoys the event, thereby entertaining others.

The same happened yesterday night. As a part guest list, this ‘Dictator’ attended the Mirror Beauty Salon. After the opening of the salon, fashion shows and ramp walk followed.

Everything was going normally until Balakrishna got on to the ramp and walked. While he was walking on the ramp whistles and claps across the hall resounded. He along with few other foreign models shared the ramp.

This salon is said to be owned by someone close to Balakrishna’s family. Apart from Balakrishna, Hero Akhil, Raj Tarun, actor Chalapathi Rao, Raja Ravindra , heroine Sanjana, AP CM Naidu’s wife Bhuvaneshwari were also among the guests.

Pongal Fight between Dictator and Soggade Chinni Nayana

Telugu Cinema senior heroes Nandamuri Balakrishna and Akkineni Nagarjuna’s films will be fighting at the box-office this Pongal. These two heroes who belong to two different legendary families will face each other with their film’s Dictator and Soggage Chinni Nayana in the pongal race for the year 2016.

Balakrishna and Nagarjuna
Balakrishna and Nagarjuna

Twice in the past too…

This isn’t any new competition for Nag and Balakrishna. In fact, these two top heroes fought in the Pongal twice. In 1987 Balakrishna’s ‘Bhargava Ramudu’ was released on 14th of January, while Nagarjuna’s ‘Majnu’ too released on the same day. While the overall result of these two films were average, Bhargava Ramudu was a hit in few centres and Majnu gained good response in others.

Individually speaking, Balakrishna released eleven of his films for Pongal and Nagarjuna has only four releases. Out of eleven releases, Balayya has seven hits while others were a flop. Nagarjuna’s films that released for Pongal were all average or above average films. That clearly says Balakrishna is the real Pongal hero.

Also in 1996 ‘Vamsanikokkadu’ and ‘Vajram’ of Balayya and Nagarjuna locked horns for Sankranthi. Now, after a span of twenty years Balakrishna and Nagarjuna are once again fighting out for Sankranthi.

Let’s see whether ‘Dictator’ or ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ will be a winner.

NBK’s Dictator Team Felicitates Nasser

Nandamuri Balakrishna, who is shooting for his upcoming film “Dictator”, took some time out of the shooting and felicitated his co-actor and good friend Nasser.

Dictator Team Felicitates Nasser
Dictator Team Felicitates Nasser

The reason behind this was very simple. Nasser, who contested in the elections of South Indian Film Artistes Association (popularly known as Nadigar Sangam elections) on behalf of Vishal’s Pandavar Ani, was recently elected as the new president of the association in Tamil Nadu. Vishal and Karthi were elected as General Secretary and Treasurer by beating Sarath Kumar and his team.

After returning from Tamil Nadu, Nasser joined the “Dictator” team in which he is seen as an anti-character. Taking this opportunity, Balakrishna felicitated Nasser over his win in the Nadigar Sangam elections.

Balakrishna further appealed to this veteran actor regarding the issues and problems being faced by the poor artist’s and workers in Tamil Nadu. Nasser replied in a positive manner and gave his word of looking into the issue.

Along with Balakrishna heroine Anjali, director Sriwass, character artist Posani and other casts of the film were present while felicitating Nasser.

The fiercely-fought Nadigar Sangam elections have brought to an end the decade-old contentious rule of Sarathkumar and Radha Ravi. The Pandavar Ani, led by Vishal and Nasser, has swept the polls. Being part of a free and fair election, the stars of Tamil cinema have, for the first time, realised the importance of casting their vote.
