Differences In MAA Association

The Movie Artists Association is facing a lot of unnecessary rumors in the recent times. The association is facing allegations regarding the funds utilized for organizing the events in the USA. The last time that MAA has hit to a controversy is when there was an election between Rajendra Prasad and Jaya Sudha for President post. Now, Sivaji Raja is the president of the association and there were allegations about the distribution of the funds.

Sr Naresh is also a part of the association who is the Secretary of the association has reportedly verified the records and locked the office. He called for an emergency meeting to discuss the same. Heated arguments took place between Rajendra Prasad and Sr Naresh but finally, after 4 hours of meeting, Sr Naresh addressed the media and condemned all the rumors.

Former chairman of Movie Artists Association, Rajendra Prasad has made some sensational comments on the drug accused members in the film industry.

Talking to the media, he declared that some accused names like Puri Jagannath, Ravi Teja, and others belong to Grade-A but not to the B and C grades to use Drugs. He claimed that only C-Grade fellows use drugs as they have no chances in the movies, they get addicted to drugs. Even though he didn’t mean to hurt anyone, some netizens are firing at this former comedy King for calling some actors as Grade-C class. They remind that a person like Rajendra Prasad who has a stature in the society shouldn’t categorize people into classes.

Meanwhile, the cases and notices are still haunting some accused names in the Telugu Film Industry. Some are thrashing these allegations, and some chose to remain calm.

Police issued notices to 3 Young Heroes in TFI

Police on Wednesday issued notices to 4 people belonging to the Telugu film industry to present themselves before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the shocking drugs haul case. Those issued notice include three young heroes, four producers, two directors and one fight master.

They were instructed to present themselves before the SIT within six days for an interrogation. They have been warned of serious consequences if they fail to make themselves available for investigation.

Apart from members of the film industry, others involved in the drugs abuse include multinational professionals and school children. It may be recalled that a ninth standard girl using drugs had shocked both people and police in Hyderabad.

While many bigwigs in the Telugu film industry have acknowledged the involvement of film celebrities and its personnel in abuse of drugs, they have taken objection to the entire film industry being maligned in the media because of a few.

Movie Artists’ Association (MAA) President Sivaji Raja, producers Suresh Babu and Allu Aravind, and hero Srikanth had spoken on the issue at a recent event held by MAA in the city.
