The new working committee of MAA association met yesterday in Hyderabad and made some important decisions for the 2019-2021 tenure. The president Naresh, General Secretary Jeevitha Rajasekhar and Vice-President Rajasekhar revealed the same to the media.

– The association has come up with a help-line number to hear out the problems of their members. 9502030405 is the number.

– The association hiked the pension by adding a thousand more. The reason behind this is that the association hopes that the hiked remuneration will be used for expenses regarding the health.

– The association revealed that they will make sure that the state government welfare schemes will be applied to MAA association members

– For all those who wish to join as a new person in the association will be given two options. Those who pay 25K will be given a Gold Card which will have an expiry date of 2 years. If the member pays the remaining 75 thousand in the two years, he will become a life-long member.

– The benefits of the association will not be applicable for the member until he pays the complete amount.

– The second option is giving a discount of 10K if the member pays 90K at once. This opportunity is going to be there for only 100 days.

– The members will be given SBI Bheema policy worth 3 lakh rupees

‘Movie Artists Association’ has been on the news during its annual elections and the nominees Naresh and Sivaji Raja and their respective supporting panel have rubbed the shoulders, making allegations and controversial statements of the opposite.

Naresh won the elections with 69 votes and Hero Rajasekhar has become the executive vice president, while director S.V.Krishna Reddy has been elected as the vice president of the association. It has been reported earlier that S.V. Krishna Reddy has submitted his resignation letter because of the misconduct and misuse of the treasure of the committee. During the election, he was in favour of Sivaji Raja panel and since he was the only one who won from Sivaji Raja’s panel, there have been few mishaps between the members. Now, this senior filmmaker has quit due to the fabrications. An official announcement from the members of ‘MAA’ is awaited.

Shivaji Raja, the president of MAA association has been revolving around a lot of controversies of late. He has faced disputes with the treasurer Naresh in the recent past but it looks like all the issues were sorted out successfully.

Meanwhile, Shivaji Raja recently interacted with the media where he opened up about the reasons behind the cancellation of Mahesh Babu’s event in the USA.

When questioned about the same, Shivaji Raja said, “We were ready to undergo troubles but we wanted Mahesh Babu not to face any kind of issue. Because of the same reason, we cancelled the event as we want no disturbance from the organizers to Mahesh.”

Shivaji Raja agreed that the disputes existed between him and Naresh but he again said that everything was sorted out between them.

Actor Sivaji Raja carved a niche for himself with the film Kallu. Later, he acted in a number of movies, and he is now recently elected as Movie Artists’ Association (MAA) President. He has been in the Industry for three decades.

Recently he gave a strict warning to Telugu actresses. He said, Tollywood heroines are taking huge amount as remuneration for each movie, but they are not showing interest in MAA activities. Shivaji Raja further said the Telugu actresses are not co-operating to fundraising for the construction of the building for MAA and old-age home.

He further added that the top stars from Telugu Film Industry like Megastar Chiranjeevi, Superstar Mahesh Babu, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Victory Venkatesh and others are extending their support and coming forward for MAA initiatives.

The Movie Artists Association has witnessed a change in the association president. They have elected a new president for MAA.

The previous elections of MAA had created a big sensation at that time as the normal elections seemed to be political elections. Two parties one is lead by Naresh and other leads by Rajendra Prasad have fought like a battle of exchanging war of words. Even the so called versatile actors like Naresh, Sivaji Raja, Jayasudha, Hema etc made controversial statements against rivals. After all the fussy drama, Rajendra Prasad has won as MAA president with the involvement of Naga Babu. Now as his term is about to complete, the MAA members have unanimously elected Sivaji Raja as president of MAA.

He used to be secretary to Rajendra Prasad. Now the opposition Naresh has thought it’s bad to have fights yet again and made this thing easy. This is a huge development from MAA members.

Movie Artists Association (MAA) is gearing up to felicitate veteran actors Jamuna and Kaikala Satyanarayana in a ceremony to be held on 12th June.

“Respecting our seniors is our Tradition, felicitating senior most actors is our responsibility. We decide to felicitate and pay respect to the seniors actors Jamuna and Kaikala Satyanarayana in our Annual General Body meeting (AGM)” said Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the president of Movie Artist Association.

MAA General Secretary, Sivaji Raja, said that the ceremony will be held at 9 AM on 12th June at Producer Council Hall. Dr. Dasari Narayana Rao will grace the event as a chief guest and will honor the veterans. Many noted actors and technicians will attend the event.

Rajendra Prasad added that Jamuna is one of the finest actresses of the golden era, and Kaikala Satyanarayana is a versatile actor who was on par with NTR and ANR in stardom.
