Legendary actress Sridevi breathed her last on February 24, 2018, in Dubai where she had gone to attend a family wedding.

However, as per latest reports, during the 65th National Film Awards announcement held last month, Sridevi was given the Best Actress award posthumously for her last film ‘Mom’. The complete list of winners was announced where late actor Vinod Khanna was conferred with the Dada Saheb Phalke Award.

Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor along with daughters Janhvi and Khushi attended the event. Sridevi’s family members have reached the capital city to accept the National Film Award for the actress which will be handed out on May 3, 2018.

Boney Kapoor and daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor went for dinner to Arjun Kapoor’s house. Arjun Kapoor returned to Mumabi from Amritsar where he was shooting ‘Namaste England’ with Parineeti Chopra.

It is learnt that Arjun wanted to be with his father and step-sisters during their moment of grievance after the untimely death of Sridevi. Speculations are rife about Arjun and sister Anshula shifting back in their family home, to be closer to Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor.

A source said, “So far, Arjun and his sister Anshula Kapoor have led pretty much independent lives, away from their father’s family. But now Arjun feels his father and his stepsisters Janhvi and Khushi need him. He has begun to feel as protective towards his stepsister as he does towards his own sister Anshula.”

Sridevi-Boney Kapoor’s elder daughter Jhanvi Kapoor is said of preparing herself to debut in Bollywood. Jhanvi, who has a lot to match with Sridevi in her personality, is interested in making it big with becoming a heroine someday. Ibrahim has already made his screen debut depicting the role of young Jimmy in Saif Ali Khan starrer ‘Tashan’. He is the son of Saif and his first wife Amrita Singh. These two look good together and may be they will make their debut together on screen, who knows?
