Telangana government finally responded to the casting couch movement in Telugu film industry. The government has now initiated a committee which will hear the stories of the victims and take necessary action. Telangana State Film Development Corporation Chairman Ram Mohan Rao will be the chairman of this committee. Actress Supriya, Anchor Jhansi, director Nandini Reddy, professor Vasanthi, doctor Rama Devi, social activist Viayalakshmi will be the members of this committee.

Along with them, writer Paruchuri Gopala Krishna, producer KL Narayana, actress Preethi Nigam, producer Sudharkar Reddy, director Shankar, Thammareddy Bharadwaj and many others will be a part of the committee.

It was Sri Reddy who took the initiative and finally, her ambitions were fulfilled. The biopic trend is increasing in Tollywood. It is known that the biopic of Telangana Chief Minister KCR is also on cards. The title of the movie is going to be ‘Telangana Devudu’.

As per the latest reports, Srikanth is going to play the role of KCR in the biopic. The movie is going to showcase the inspiring life story of KCR who hailed from a small village but emerged as the chief minister of Telangana state. Srikanth has been watching so many videos and interviews of KCR to imitate his body language. He is also taking the help of actor and writer Uttej to get the Telangana dialect. New director Harish is going to mark is directory all debut with this movie.

The makers are planning to release the movie before the general elections in Telangana. Srikanth’s next release will be an intense political drama, ‘Operation 2019’.

Versatile actor Prakash Raj is popular in the film industry as well as the political arena. The actor has been active on the social media now and is also creating an impact in the politics with his opinions and theories. He recently interacted with a TV news channel and made some interesting comments on Telangana CM KCR.

“KCR is always on the side of Farmers. He introduced a lot of welfare activities for the people. He is one person that I am always attracted to.” said Prakash Raj adding, “There were a lot of rumours that I am playing his role in a film being made as a biopic on his life which carry no truth. I met him recently only to talk about Panchayithi Raj bill. There is nothing else that is cooking up.”

Sri Reddy took to Facebook and posted that she wants to meet KCR and discuss about the casting couch in the TFI. If he doesn’t meet her, Sri Reddy alleged that she will go nude in public.

Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan met Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at Pragathi Bhavan to congratulate latter over 24 hours uninterrupted power supply to farmers.

The interesting discussion has been going on in political circles over the meeting. However, eccentric filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma took to Facebook and posted Pawan and KCR’s earlier comments.

Noted filmmaker Madhura Sridhar has now made an interesting announcement that he is going to direct the biopic of Telangana CM KCR. This is surely going to be an interesting project now. The buzz reveals us that the film will be produced by Raj Kandukuri who is enjoying the success of the film Pelli Choopulu. The film is surely going to be a project that will grab the attention of many.

“I discovered that the kind of challenges KCR faced were on par with what Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, and Martin Luther King faced during their movements. As a filmmaker, I decided to bring this history onscreen. The shooting will commence on June 2nd, 2017 the Telangana formation day and the film will release on February 17th, 2018 on the eve of KCR’s birthday.” Madhura Sridhar revealed in a press statement.

Telangana CM KCR and Janasena party president Pawan Kalyan are considered as rivals in politics. The latest buzz coming in reveals that both these are going to meet soon and also going to share a single stage. But don’t get to the conclusions as it is nothing related to politics and is about a film event. Both these politicians are going to meet at an upcoming Telugu film audio launch event. Jaguar is the film which marks the debut of Nikhil Kumar, the grandson of Ex-PM of India. His film Jaguar audio event is going to be held on 18th of this month in Hyderabad in a grand manner.

Both Pawan Kalyan and KCR were invited for the event. If everything goes well, they might come forward to meet one another, and that would really create a special interest to the public. More details about the same will be revealed soon.

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100th film titled ‘Goutamiputra Satakarni’ has been just launched amidst the attendance of bigwigs from politics and cinema fields.

The event held at Annapurna Studios at an auspicious muhurat at just past 10 AM was a star-studded affair. Telangana CM KCR has clapped the soundboard for the Muhurat shot while veteran filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao has directed the first shot. Megastar Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh have also attended the event to convey their best wishes to Balakrishna. Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh switched on camera for the first scene.

T ministers Talasani Sreenivasa Yadav, Harish Rao, K Raghavendra Rao, etc have also attended the event to wish Balayya. Many actors and filmmakers have also graced the ceremony after Balayya cordially invited them all.

Balakrishna Nandamuri is now gearing up for the grand launch of his 100th film in Hyderabad. After announcing the film at Amaravathi, the actor is now gearing up to kick start the grand launching function and has fixed 22nd of this month as the date. The event will take place at Annapurna Studios in a grand manner. The film has been titled as Gautami Putra Satakarni. Balakrishna will play the title role, and the film is based on Satavahana dynasty. The buzz is that Bollywood actress Hema Malini will play Balayya’s mother in the film.

The grand launch event is expected to take place in the presence of Balakrishna fans and other political personalities of the two Telugu states. Today morning, Balakrishna along with the film’s director Krish Jagarlamudi met Telangana chief minister Chandra Sekhar Rao and invited him for his film launch. Tollywood actor, Hindupur MLA and TDP Supreme Chandrababu Naidu’s brother-in-law Balakrishna Nandamuri has today met Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in Hyderabad, and the duo had a long chat over various issues.

Balayya has reportedly shared the services conducted under Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital under his administration. The Hindupur MLA has asked permission of TRS govt to regulate the norms of the buildings being built in the premises of the Cancer Hospital. He also asked the CM to increase the night-shelters for the relatives of the patients, for which KCR reacted positively.

On the occasion, Balayya has reportedly invited the CM to watch his recent released film ‘Dictator’. When the CM enquired the actor about his 100th flick, Balayya replied that the film will be a sequel to his 90s blockbuster “Aditya 369”. Titled ‘Aditya 999’, it will be directed by Singeetham Sreenivasa Rao and will mark the debut of his son Mokshagna.

In the wake of floods in Chennai, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has ordered the management of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) to reschedule the much awaited IIFA Utsavam ceremony.

IIFA had earlier planned to organize this landmark event from 4th- 6th December, at Gachibowli Stadium, Hyderabad, to honor the best of Southern film industry.

However, IIFA Utsavam has been postponed now as the management felt that it is not appropriate to make celebrations amidst the chaos in Tamil Nadu state.

IIFA has today announced to have rescheduled the event for a later date in January, next year. So far IIFA events used to be seen only in Bollywood but for the first time, IIFA is poised to organize the ceremony in south.

Ram Gopal Varma is now showing special interest on KCR. This controversial director is known for picking sensitive aspects. It is known that KCR is quite sensitive to media. Recently, few channels were banned for showing KCR in a different way. In this scenario, “How will RGV tune the story of KCR?” turned out to be the point.

“Will RGV show the biopic of KCR or will he just use that name for the sake of publicity?” is yet to be known. “How will KCR react on this title?” is another interesting topic.
