Currently, the film Gully Boy is creating a rage in Bollywood. Starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, this film is directed by Zoya Akhtar. It features the success story of a rapper who was raised in slums of Dharavi and ends up being one of the best hip-hop artists in the country.

Now, it is being heard that plans are being made to remake this film in Telugu. A leading Bollywood journal has recently conducted a poll on whom would audience like to see in the remake of Gully Boy. Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati and Vijay Devarakonda were given as the options.

Commenting on the post, Rana said that he is not talented enough to essay the role and asked the publishers to remove his name. His quirky yet genuine reply is now winning the hearts of netizens. Meanwhile, it is still unclear whether any production house has bought the remake rights of this film or not.

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhat starer film Gully Boy has hit the screens last Friday and is getting a good response from the audience all over. Even the critics are praising the film for its flawless narration and superlative acting by both the lead actors.

The film is based on the life of Mumbai based rappers Naezy and Divine. Though it is a conventional story of a poor boy getting fame through his talent, there is much more to talk about in the film. Director Zoya Akhtar was successful in portraying the lives of people in Dharavi, the relationship between them and how the outside world looks at them.

Now, plans are being made to remake this film in Telugu. Apparently, Allu Aravind is trying to grab the remake rights of the film. Already, Bunny Vas is in talks with Gully Boy’s producers and final call might be taken sometime soon. The remake might feature Sai Dharam Tej or Panjaa Vaishnav Tej as the lead, claimes the sources.

Cute actress Alia Bhatt is currently busy with the promotions of her new movie Gully Boy that is releasing on 14th of this month, marking the occasion of Valentine’s Day. Ranveer Singh played the lead role in the movie.

There were a lot of rumours that Alia Bhatt is going to get married this year with Ranbir Kapoor. Alia recently participated in an event and spoke about her furture kids. She revealed that she already took a decision about naming her kids in the future.

“If I give birth to a girl, I will name her Alma.” said Alia who also gave the reason behind it. Once Alia took part in a reality show and a fan who was there forgot her name and addressed her Alma. Alia said that she instantly liked that name and decided to name her daughter with the same.

After the super success of Simmba, actor Ranveer Singh is now coming with a musical film titled Gully Boy. Based on the life of Mumbai based hip hop rapper Devine, Gully Boy is directed by Zoya Akhtar and features Alia Bhatt as the female lead. The audio launch of the film is slated to be held tonight in Mumbai.

Ranveer is going to share the stage with many rappers like Devine, Naezy, D-cypher, Dub Sharma, Devil, Mc Altaaf and other trending rappers from the city. The event will also be graced by Ranveer’s co-actors from the film Alia Bhatt and Siddhanth Chaturvedi.

Ranveer sang all the four songs in the film and he will be performing all of them on the stage along with Devine and Naezy. Initially, Zoya was skeptical to make Ranveer sing but after watching his rapping skills, she made him croon all the songs in the film. The movie is set to release on February 14.

We can also get a glimpse of Kalki Koechlin in the film. The music is undoubtedly the highlight. The raps are superb. We can expect that Ranveer is going to score another big hit.

Farhan Akhtar in association with Ritesh Sidhwani is bankrolling this project under Excel Entertainment banner. The movie is gearing up for a grand release on Valentines Day, February 14th, 2019.
