Malayalam complete actor Mohanlal is in the film business for almost four decades now. As an actor, producer and distributor, he came up with a lot of projects. Now, Mohanlal announced his debut as a director.

Yesterday, he released a voice note and a press note where he mentioned that he is planning to turn a director for ‘Barroz’, a 3-D film set in a Portuguese backdrop about a man who stands guard to a 400-year-old treasure of Vasco da Gama, the explorer. The project will be made in multiple languages like Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.

Mohanlal recently scored a hit with Lucifer and it marked the directorial debut of the actor Prithviraj Sukumaran. Looks like, Mohanlal finally gained the confidence to announce his debut as a director now

As per the ongoing reports on the social media, we have come to know that the star Tamil hero Vishal is all set to make his debut as a director. The actor has plans to direct a film that revolves around Stray Dogs. The film is going to be made on a decent budget without any constraints. The makers wantedly kept the details of the movie under wraps and the official confirmation on the same is expected to be out in January.

Vishal is said to be a pet lover and he has mentioned the same several times in the past. Earlier, Kerala government took a decision to kill the stray dogs but Vishal has condemned the same by staging a fasting protest for a day.

Unlike coming up with a commercial film. Vishal wanted to direct a film on the Stray Dogs.

Top director Sukumar has scored a blockbuster with his first production venture ‘Kumari 21F’. Now, he is gearing up for his second production venture titled ‘Director’. It will also be produced on his banner Sukumar Writings.

The success of ‘Kumari 21F’ looks to have boosted the confidence of Sukumar so much that he is gearing up for another film in very short span.
