Of late, Aishwarya Rajesh is doing big in the industry. After winning the hearts of Tamil audience, Aishwarya forayed into Mollywood in Dulquer Salmaan’s Jomonte Suvisheshangal. She is a daughter of senior Tollywood actor Rajesh and also a comedian Sri Lakshmi’s niece.

As per latest reports, the Aishwarya has been roped in to star in Vikram’s Dhruva Natchathiram, which is directed by Gautham Menon. Like most of Menon’s films, Dhruva Natchathiram too will have two heroines.

Though Anu Emmanuel was approached to play the leading lady, the actor walked out of the project due to date clashes. The makers have replaced Anu with Ritu Varma of Pelli Choopulu fame.

Dhruva Natchathiram is a spy thriller made on the lines of the Bourne series. To be produced by Ondraga Entertainment along with another leading production house, Dhruva Natchathiram is expected to release in August.

Meanwhile, Gautham awaits the release of his upcoming romantic thriller Enai Noki Paayum Thotta, which stars Dhanush and Megha Anand in the lead.

Arvind Swamy steals the show with his marvelous acting in Dhruva. He got candid about his long hiatus and his personal decisions in Dhruva success meet.

Speaking to the media, “About seven years back I had an accident, so I injured my spine and then I got paralysed in my leg and all that happened. So it took me some time to recover from that so you know when I took a break from films, I didn’t realise how long the break was going to be. I just wanted to do things I had in mind, but I never had a plan as to when I’m going to come back.”

Speaking more about the tragedy in detail, he added that,” I had to go through my accident and rehabilitation and I couldn’t even, I was paralysed, I could not even get up to walk some distance. But last year I ran 21 kilometres.”

However, it is indeed an amazing and altogether inspiring story that Arvind could go through such a horrible accident and still recover back to his peak fitness condition.

After promoting his latest film Dhruva extensively in the US, Ram Charan landed in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The mega hero, who didn’t get time to watch the complete film in one go during his US tour, reportedly caught the film in a multiplex in Hyderabad on Wednesday evening itself.

Ram Charan took Upasana to GVK INOX in Banjara Hills to watch the film. The pictures of the duo coming out of theatre after watching the film are currently doing rounds in internet. During the making of Dhruva, Upasana has many a time said that her respect towards actors grew by watching the hard work of Charan.

After finally watching the film getting great applause from audiences, Upasana and Charan reportedly felt very happy. Charan has already started post release promotions of the film by giving interviews to print and electronic media.

The distributors of mega power star Ram Charan’s latest release ‘Dhruva’ were scared when the action thriller collected just par on its 1st day despite positive reviews and word-of-mouth.

However, ‘Dhruva’ sustained and posted great numbers on Saturday – 5 Cr and Sunday -5.5 Cr to post a healthy Rs 21 Cr opening weekend in the Telugu states.

In overseas, ‘Dhruva’ has already become the biggest grosser for Ram Charan. Although the number from premiere shows was slightly lower than expectations, ‘Dhruva’ managed to do well and is likely to join the 1 million club by its first Monday.

Ace director SS Rajamouli who never shies from praising the films that he likes, has very good words to say about Ram Charan’s latest release ‘Dhruva’.

He took to Twitter to praise Charan, Rakul, film’s director Surender Reddy and Tamil actor Aravind Swamy who played the stylish villain.

‘My full appreciation to charan and surendar reddy for keeping the story in front instead of image which made Dhruva intresting and captivating. from beg till end. However, Rajamouli has ranked the film’s writer above all of these. It may be noted that Dhruva is the remake of Tamil hit ‘Thani Oruvan’, written and directed by Mohan Raja.

In a tragic incident, 14 members of Ram Charan’s fans were indulged in a huge accident while they were returning after watching the star hero’s latest film ‘Dhruva’ on the very first day, 9th December.

As per reports, the accident took place in Vavilala of Jogulamba district of Telangana. The 14 members were returning in an auto-rikshaw after watching the last show of Friday when a lorry collided with the auto they were traveling in 2 members named Raju and Satish succumbed to injuries on the spot and the remaining 12 were shifted to Kurnool hospital. The condition of two is said to be very serious.

Mega fans have been sending condolence messages to the families of the dead and praying for the recovery of those battling for their lives in the hospital.

Story

Dhruva (Ram Charan) and his group of friends are IPS officers who nib criminals in secret night outings. While others in the group get frustrated after knowing that the criminals they nabbed by risking their lives get scot free due to the loopholes in the system. However Dhruva sets himself a secret mission. With his research he has already identified that the most of the small crimes are the starting points of a big conspiracy and he decides to destroy the perpetrator of one such conspiracy so that at least a hundred criminals would be killed. In his search for such a mastermind behind crimes he discovers Siddharth Abhimanyu (Aravind Swamy) a renowned pharmaceutical scientist as the mastermind of a huge conspiracy in pharmaceutical industry and also in everything he is interested in. Dhruva fixes him as his enemy and the rest is how Dhruva destroyed his circle, ideas and plans.

Cast and Performance

Ram Charan has definitely improved a lot in terms of his acting skills. He has done a commendable job as an IPS officer and he looks as robust as the character demand. Rakul Preet is cute and performed well and also looks gorgeous. Aravind Swamy as Siddharth Abhimanyu is terrific. He lived in the character and made it terrifying even with his stylish looks. Posani Krishna Murali is superb and evoke some laughs with his mannerisms. Nassar is good. Navdeep is certainly well performed in the small yet crucial role Jana.

Writing Department

Story of Dhruva is good and interesting.Screenplay is engaging despite flaws. Dialogues are well written connecting the sequences.

Technical Departments

Songs composed by Telugu debutante Hip Hop Tamizhan are fantastic and are chartbusters already on streaming sites for the catchy tunes album has. His background score has elevated the movie to goosebumps level and it connects well with the audience. Cinematography by PS Vinod is nice and the visuals he rendered are delight to watch on big screen. Editing by Naveen Nooli is good and is crispy by far at times. Stunts and action sequences are superbly composed which makes audience jump on seats out of excitement.

Verdict

It begins with the birth of Siddharth Abhimanyu and travels through his ideology and his opportunism. This first half runs with an engaging and racy screenplay. Those who expect a laugh riot first half, this is not for you for some situational laughs. Twists and thrills in this half are nicely packed. Interval comes at a point where audience are fully engaged and the screenplay disappoints a bit for thirty to forty minutes in the second half and then picks the pace. This movie is a complete makeover and gamechanger for Ram Charan and he is to be patted for his hard work. Director Surendar Reddy succeeded well in portraying a stylish and intelligent script with an engaging screenplay on screen. To summarise, Dhruva is a hit added to the kitty of Ram Charan and have to wait how huge it turns out to be in coming days.

Bubbly beauty Rakul Preet Singh is reportedly moving heaven and earth to satisfy the makers of her films.

The actress currently has four films on floors and she is shooting simultaneously for two films in Visakhapatnam. The movies are Naga Chaitanya’s new film in the direction of Soggade Chinni Nayana fame Kalyan Krishna and Sai Dharam Tej’s Winner.

Reportedly, Rakul is shuffling between the sets of these two films in order not to halt the shoot off either. Interestingly, the hot lady’s big film ‘Dhruva’ also hit screens today.
