From the past few days, it is being reported that Aditya Varma, which is the Tamil remake of Arjun Reddy, has been called off indefinitely as the producers are unhappy with the output. But we hear that all those are mere rumours and the team is silently wrapping up the shoot.

Already, it has been shot more than 50 percent and soon the cast and crew will go to Portugal to shoot a key schedule. A song and a couple of scenes will be canned there. They are planning to release the film either in the month of June or July, at any cost. Girisayya, who earlier worked as an associate for Arjun Reddy, is directing this film.

Bollywood actress Banita Sandhu is playing the female lead in it. Ace DOP Ravi K Chandran is handling the cinematography. It is already known that the entire film is being reshot again as the makers were unhappy with the earlier version made by director Bala.

Gautham Menon is one of the star filmmakers in South film industry. The director is busy with the release works of his two upcoming movies and at the same time is working on a web series based on the life of Jayalalithaa.

The interesting buzz is that the director will turn actor for Dhruv Vikram’s debut film. Chiyaan Vikram’s son Dhruv is going to mark his debut with the film Aditya Varma, the official remake of the Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy. Girisayya is going to make his debut as a director with the film.

Gautham Menon will be essaying Dhruv’s father character in the film. Mahesh’s brother-in-law Sanjay Swarup played this role in the original. Banita Sandhu is on board to play the heroine in the film.

First, they roped in Bollywood beauty Banita Sandhu as the lead actress.

The latest we hear is that Vijay Devarakonda, who acted as the lead in the original, might have a cameo in this film. As there is a minimal buzz around the film, the makers are planning to create a hype by roping in Vijay into the project. The shoot of this version will go on floors very soon.

Since the producers of Varmaa announced that they are going to scrap off the project, there were a lot of speculations about the new cast and crew of the movie. Dhruv Vikram will be seen playing the lead in the film but Megha Choudhary who earlier acted as the heroine in the movie is not going to be a part of the project anymore.

The latest update is that Banita Sandhu, who made her debut with the film October starring Varun Dhawan is going to be making her debut as a heroine with this Tamil film. The makers have officially confirmed the same and they finally locked their trust in Banita that she will do the justice for the role that Shalini Pandey did in Telugu.

The makers are planning to release the film in June 2019.

Vikram bought the right of Arjun Reddy right after its release, hoping that it will be a perfect launchpad for his son. He also roped in his best buddy director Bala as the director. but unfortunately, Vikram was highly disappointed with the version Bala made. Thus, he took a call for the re-shoot in order to make this film a successful debut venture for his son at any cost.

Vijay Devarakonda starrer ‘Arjun Reddy’ is undoubtedly one of cult movies in Tollywood. The tremendous blockbuster is now getting remade into Tamil as well with Dhruv as the lead actor.

Titled as ‘Varma’, the makers of the remake version have unveiled the first single from the film in which Dhruv is spotted with a fully grown beard. It is the song that comes after the breakup. Dhruv is looking fine for his character but we can say that the song track is not that impressive when compared to the original version. Though it is wrong to compare two movies, the movie is a tremendous hit and not only Vijay’s fans but also the audience expects the remake version to repeat the same magic. Kollywood popular actor Chiyaan Vikram’s son Dhruv met with a car accident early in the morning today on August 12th when his car rammed into an auto rickshaw.

As per the reports, Dhruv was traveling in his luxury car and when he was near Teynampet police commissioner’s house, his car rammed into the autorickshaw that is parked on the road. The auto got damaged beyond repair and the driver who was sleeping inside suffered severe injuries.

Auto driver’s leg has been fractured and was immediately rushed to the hospital for the treatment. The police officials from Pondy Bazaar station filed a case on Dhruv and is currently investigating the case.

Recently it was reported that Leading Malayalam production and distribution house ‘E4 Entertainment’ has snapped the Tamil and Malayalam dubbing/remake rights of Arjun Reddy. Earlier it was heard that the makers are considering the name of Arya to essay the role of Vijay in its remake, but now sources say that the makers are planning to bring Dhruv on the board to play the lead role.

If everything will go accordingly, Vignesh Shivan will helm the remakes of Malayalam and Tamil.

Earlier on several occasions, Vikram has revealed that his son will enter the film industry as he is very much interested in showbiz but he was not sure in what capacity.

Last year, Dhruv had also made a short film that deals with the subject of child abuse within the family. The film was called ‘Goodnight Charlie. The star kid, indeed, has many talents.
