Daily a piece of news is coming up regarding the Tamil remake of Arjun Reddy. After the first copy of the film was shelved, the producers decided to reshoot the entire film with a different cast and crew, only retaining the lead actor Dhruv Vikram. First, they roped in Bollywood beauty Banita Sandhu as the lead actress.
After that, Girisayya came on board as the director, replacing Bala who helmed the first version. Girisayya worked as an associate to Sandeep Vanga for Arjun Reddy. Later, DOP Ravi K Chandran has been roped in to handle cinematography and Priya Anand to play a key role. They also renamed the tiled from Varma to Adithya Varma.
The latest we hear is that Vijay Devarakonda, who acted as the lead in the original, might have a cameo in this film. As there is a minimal buzz around the film, the makers are planning to create a hype by roping in Vijay into the project. The shoot of this version will go on floors very soon.
