The yet to be titled Chiranjeevi’s comeback film has no confirmation regarding the lead antagonist and the female lead. The makers have approached Jagapathi Babu for playing Neil Nitin Mukesh’s role in the film. Jagapathi Babu is yet to give his consent for the role. The makers, at the same time, were also in plans to approach few other actors, and they are even holding discussions with a few Bollywood actors. The film’s shoot is currently progressing at Ramoji Film City.

V V Vinayak is the director of the film and Ram Charan is producing it on his newly established production house. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music for the film. R Rathnavelu is the cinematographer for the film. Chiranjeevi will be playing dual roles in this official remake of Kaththi.

Yesteryear director Kodandarami Reddy, who has the distinction of directing megastar Chiranjeevi in the most number of films, has now made few sensational comments at the actor’s comeback film.

Speaking at an event in Vijayawada, Reddy said that people wouldn’t accept if Chiru does action or message oriented films in his comeback. He added that if he was the director, he would make comedy films with Chiru. He hoped that Chiru’s 150th film is a comedy film.
