Popular Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor is making his debut in Tamil film industry by bankrolling Thala Ajith’s latest film Nerkonda Parvaai. This is an official remake of Hindi film Pink. Starring Shraddha Srinath in another lead role, this movie is all set to hit the screens on August 8.

Speaking about the film, Boney said that it was his wife and star actress late Sridevi’s wish to produce a film with Ajith as the lead. “I couldn’t fulfill my wife’s wish when she was alive. But I fulfilled it now. I am thankful for all the team members of this film who made it possible. Without their efforts, this project wouldn’t have been like this,” he added.

Ajith has shed his mass hero image to act in this social courtroom drama. Already, it is getting some rave reviews from the premiere and media screening. Nerkonda Parvaai is directed by H. Vinoth. It also features Vidya Balan and Kalki Koechlin in guest appearances.

Pink is one of the successful movies in Bollywood film industry and the movie made Taapsee a big star in the Hindi film industry. Amitabh Bachchan played an important character in the movie. The movie is now getting remade in Tamil with Ajith and Shraddha Srinath.

Shraddha Srinath has posted a picture on Facebook recollecting some of the memories that she had while shooting for the movie. We can see Shraddha posing along with Abhirami Venkatachalam and Andrea.

The film Narkonda Paarvai is all set to release on 9th of August in Tamil. Boney Kapoor produced the movie while H Vinoth is the director for the movie.

Top producer Dil Raju is currently very much busy working on an exciting project titled as Sarileru Nekevaru. Superstar Mahesh Babu and Rashmika Mandanna are playing the lead roles in the movie. The film is directed by Anil Ravipudi.

There are reports that Dil Raju is going to venture into Bollywood with a couple of interesting projects. The producer officially announced his collaboration with Boney Kapoor for the remake of F2 but we came to know that Dil Raju is also planning to produce two other movies.

One of them is the remake of Jersey starring Nani. Karan Johar might collaborate with Dil Raju for this project. At the same time, Dil Raju also has plans to take Ram Charan’s Yevadu to Bollywood. The discussions are going on and the official confirmation will be out, once the project gets confirmed.

The entire nation was shocked after hearing the sudden demise of legendary actress Sridevi. She was found dead in a bathtub in a hotel when she went to Dubai to attend a family wedding. More than anyone else, it was her husband Boney Kapoor who was heartbroken by the news.

Popular producer Boney Kapoor and actress Urvashi Rautela came together to pose for the cameras at the wedding event of producer Jayanthi Lal’s son. While posing for the pictures, Boney is said to have tried to touch Urvashi to which she responded “Dont touch.” This is what an english paper reported looking at a video that was out on the social media.

Legendary actress Sridevi passed away last year on February 24th, leaving the entire nation in shock. Sridevi, who was in Dubai, to attend one of her relative’s marriage, was found dead in her bathtub. Doctors later declared that she died due to a sudden cardiac arrest.

The final rites of Sridevi were done in full state honors in Mumbai. Meanwhile, her family members and close friends performed a pooja the other day in her Chennai residency, ahead of her death anniversary. Boney Kapoor is currently producing the Tamil remake of Pink which stars Ajith in the lead role. He told in an interview that it was Sridevi’s desire to produce a film for Ajith under her home banner. Both Sridevi and Ajith worked for the Tamil version of English Vinglish in the past.

It is heard that, Boney Kapoor has already registered titles for the project. According to reports, Sri, Sridevi and Sri Maam are the three titles registered by Boney Kapoor with the movie registration department of one of the producer associations of Bollywood.

A source close to Boney Kapoor said that, “Boneyji is serious about making a film on Srideviji and hence he has registered these titles. He is also keen to acquire other films that she has worked in and has registered the titles of those films too. Films like Chaalbaaz, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Jaanbaaz, Mr India and even titles like Return of Mr India have been registered by Boneyji recently.”

If the report by the daily is to be believed, Boney Kapoor has registered ’20 odd titles’ and the above mentioned are only a few amongst them.

Boney Kapoor and daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor went for dinner to Arjun Kapoor’s house. Arjun Kapoor returned to Mumabi from Amritsar where he was shooting ‘Namaste England’ with Parineeti Chopra.

It is common knowledge that Sridevi and Tina Ambani were good friends and they used to meet often. However, recently as a token of friendship and love towards Sridevi, Tina gifted a silver frame of Sridevi’s picture to Boney Kapoor, which was clicked during her 61st birthday and Boney broke down as it brought back fond memories of his wife.

And Boney was really touched when he saw the picture. He couldn’t hold back his tears and thanked Tina for bringing back some sweet memories. On March 4th, Boney Kapoor and her daughters immersed Sridevi’s ashes in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu. And other family members had gone to Haridwar for another ceremony on March 8th.

Sridevi died in Dubai on February 24 and her body was brought to Mumbai on February 27.
