The magnum opus ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ released only a few days back and has already shattered a number of box-office records. While fans are going gaga over the epic, and the film’s stars are revelling in the limelight, one actor stepped up to give due credit to the leading man of the franchise – Prabhas.

Rana Daggubati, who played the antagonist Bhallaladeva in the SS Rajamouli directorial, praised his co-star. In a recent media interaction, he said, A big shoutout this fine gentleman my co-star, friend and Baahubali himself. He was the one who stood by this film rock solid for over 5 years at the peak of his career unquestioned and with a smile….today he stands as the biggest pan-Indian superstar and deserves every bit of it. Proud and happy to be a part of his journey!!”

He further added that Rajamouli always used to call Prabhas as Darling and he used to say we are doing international project. Well, it is indeed heartwarming to see such a strong bond of friendship between the two stars off-screen.

Baahubali actor Rana Daggubati has graced the audio launch event of Sudheer Babu’s Bhale Manchi Roju movie. He unveiled the title song of the movie and anchor Suma asked him few questions about the much-awaited movie Baahubali 2.

When Suma Asked Rana About Why Did Kattappa Kill Baahubali, Rana said that If he says the answer Rajamouli will kill him. She also asked about the release date of Baahubali 2 for that Rana replied that it might not be released in 2016. He also doesn’t know the release date of the film.

Rana played the role of Bhallaladeva in the movie Baahubali, and he also gets an award for his performance. The shooting of Baahubali 2 will start from December 15th, and no one knows the exact release date of the movie. As per the reports, Baahubali Part 2 might not hit the theaters in 2016, and it will be released in January 2017.

Recently director Rajamouli also stated that Baahubali 3 is also on cards. So, we have to wait for Baahubali 2 release to know why did Kattappa kill Baahubali.

While S.S.Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali- The Beginning’ is still creating some records across globe, award grabbing has already begun with Rana Daggubati being the first to receive. Daggubati Rana, who was played the mighty Bhallaladeva in the beginning, will be given the Asia Vision Movie Award on December 2nd in Dubai.

Rana, who was shown extremely brutal in the first part, took off his character so well from the beginning scene. The dictatorship that he performed in Baahubali was the major highlight of the film. Baahubali- that was released on 10th of July across the world has approximately collected over Rs 650 Cr and stood as one of the biggest films in Indian Cinema.

Now, recognising Rana’s presence in Baahubali, the Asian Vision Movie Award committee and elected Rana as the best performer on a single tone.

Celebrating his award winning acting, Baahubali team is filled with joy saying that this is just the tip of an iceberg as many more recognition and awards are still to come for Baahubali and S.S.Rajamouli.

Best Picture, Best Male and Female Playback Singer, Best Lyrics, Best Music (Keeravani), Best Director (Rajamouli), Best Actor (Prabhas), Best Actress (Tamannaah), Best Supporting Actor (Satyaraj), Best Supporting Actress (Ramya Krishnan) and Best Villain (Rana).

Bubbly girl Taapsee is going to romance with Rana Daggubati in his forthcoming war drama movie Ghazi.

Tollywood hunk Rana Daggubati has recently signed an interesting film, a war drama about the mysterious sinking of ‘PNS Ghazi’ submarine during the India-Pakistan war in 1971.

Rana will be seen as a Navy officer on the submarine in this first Indian submarine film to be directed by debutante Sankalp Reddy. The film will simultaneously be made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.

After considering several actresses, makers opted for Taapsee as the leading lady. Although Samantha was considered first since she is not familiar in Bollywood, makers opted for Taapsee. Taapsee and Rana were earlier seen in Akshay Kumar’s ‘Baby’ however they didn’t have any scenes together.

Apart from this film Rana is busy with couple of other projects in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. Taapsee is waiting for the roles and finally she got one in Tollywood.

Tollywood hunk and Bhallaladeva Rana Daggubati has faced a strange experience when he was travelling to Goa from Hyderabad on October 28th. Air India offered the same seat for two people, and it is a record scored by Air India. Later they adjusted the seat. This experience shared by the actor through his Twitter page.

Rana is currently busy with a couple of projects, and soon he is going to join in the shooting of much- awaited film Baahubali 2. There was news that actress Shriya Sharan will pair with Rana for Baahubali 2. However, Shriya denies that, and she said no one approached her for Baahubali 2.

Recently Rajamouli also revealed that after Baahubali 2, Baahubali 3 is also on the cards!!

In the very process, he recently accepted to do an untitled film in which his character will be a Naval Commanding Officer. This film is being written by writer Sankalp, who is giving the final touches to the story. The film is inspired by the events that made their way for the sinking of PNS Ghazi, a Pakistani-deployed submarine during the 1971 India-Pakistan war.

This film is being publicized as India’s first submarine warfare movie.

As per the latest reports the makers have roped in Bollywood veteran actor Rahul Singh for this film. As per reliable sources, Rahul will be seen playing a negative character in this film.

Rana Daggubati will be seen as an executive naval officer of the Indian submarine S21 along with his team who remain underwater for 18 days.

Prasad V Potluri is producing this film under his home banner PVP productions. The film is undergoing its pre-production, and the producer is not compromising over the budget. Most of the shooting will happen inside a submarine, and the team has already built a prototype in a studio in Hyderabad.

Samantha is being considered as the female lead in this film.

Senior actress Shriya will be seen as Bhallaladeva’s wife in Rajamouli’s prestigious project Baahubali 2.

Rajamouli is busy sketching grand plans for the second part of ‘Baahubali’. Since the first part was resounding hit, he is leaving no stone unturned to meet the towering expectations.

As per reliable sources, makers of Baahubali have roped in senior actress Shriya to essay the role of the wife to Bhallaladeva played by Rana Daggubati. Since few pivotal scenes will be filmed on Bhallaladeva’s wife, makers have opted for a known actress. The first part has Bhallaladeva and his son, but the second part will feature his wife also.

Shriya has acted with all the top heroes of Tollywood in her career spanning 15 years. An official announcement regarding her inclusion is awaited.
