Popular heroine Amala Paul is known to the Telugu audience with films like Nayak and Iddarimayilatho. Though her career didn’t fly off well in Tollywood, she had a very good career in the Tamil film industry. Recently, Amala turned as a producer for the film Aadai.

The same film was dubbed into Telugu as Aame. though it didn’t do financially well, it brought a lot of fame to Amala as an actress. The people who though Amala would suit only for glamour roles have been proven wrong. Even Amala has decided to do content-oriented roles from now on.

Aadai is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language thriller film directed by Rathna Kumar, who earlier directed Meyaadha Maan and produced by Viji Subramaniyan under the production banner V Studios. The film released in Telugu with the title Aame. Sri Ranjani played Amala Paul’s mother role. The film unit promoted the movie well and it released today after getting delayed. Story:

Kamini (Amala Paul), after getting drunk heavily at a friend’s birthday party wakes up the next day in an old building with no clothes on her body. How did this happen? Who did this to her? What happened that night to her? Forms the story of the movie.

Performances:

Amala Paul is truly an asset for this film. We can say that has carried the entire movie on her own with her engaging and outstanding performance. Despite getting a challenging role, Amala Paul has pulled it off with ease and she has also showcased variations in her character in a beautiful way. Ramya Subramanian also delivered an honest performance and added more beauty for the film. She also looked gorgeous in the movie on the screen and gave competition to Amala Paul. Sri Ranjani acted naturally in the movie. The rest of the actors also made their presence felt.

Writing Department:

Rathnakumar has prepared an interesting script for this film and the way he has narrated it is outstanding. He keeps the audience engaged from the start to the end and will definitely impress the audience with his pace of the narration. He has executed the complex story in a decent and beautiful way.

Technical Aspects:

Production values by Rambabu Kalluri and Vijay Moraveneni are luxurious. The producers have invested decent amounts without compromising in terms of quality. Music by Pradeep Kumar added more strength for this film. Not only his songs but also his background score is intense. Dialogues by Rajesh A Murthy are impactful. Cinematographer Vijay Karthik Kannan has produced bright visuals for this film. Editing by Shafiq Muhammad Ali is clean.

Verdict:

The movie has a really entertaining script which is definitely the major plus point of this film. The movie starts off on an interesting note and the entire first staff is really impressive and will make the audience connect with the story of the film. However, when compared the first half, the second half is even racier and interesting with a lot more twists. Amala Paul’s intense performance and screenplay can be considered as the highlights of this film. However, as it is a Tamil film, Tamil nativity might not grab the attention of some Telugu audience which can be considered as a minus point of this film. To conclude, ‘Aame’ movie will definitely give a thrilling ride for the viewers.

Star heroine Amala Paul has been struggling score a solid hit after making comeback into the films post her divorce with director Vijay. Finally, she has decided to go bold and is now coming up with a suspense thriller called Aadai. The film is dubbed into Telugu as Aame. 

The teaser of both the versions was released the other day. Amala Paul plays the role of a girl who goes missing and the whole police department of the city hunts for her. The music of the film is haunting and suits the suspense element of the story. One thing which shocks everyone is the last shot where Amala is seen in her bare body.

It takes guts for any actress in India to go bare body for a sequence on the film. Amala did that and that proves her belief in the story. Aame is being presented by Tammareddy Bharadwaj in Telugu. It is written and directed by Rathna Kumar. The film is slated to release in July.

Young Tamil hero Vishnu Vishal recently announced that he officially got divorced with Rajni Natraj whom he married in 2011. While performing a stunt sequence, the actress twisted her arm and suffered a ligament tear. While performing the stunt, Amala experienced severe pain and the team thought it was just a sprain and gave her an ice pack. Amala also continued the shooting.

But the pain increased gradually which made the team members to rush her to the hospital. The team then found out that it a ligament tear and the doctor suggested her to rest her hand for a while. Amala, being the professional actress assured that she will be back as soon as possible and complete the shooting. As per the reports, only 10 days of the shooting is left and 90 % percent of the film shooting is completed.

Very recently, there were a lot of reports that Amala Paul undergone a sexual harassment. Amala Paul herself made allegations that the owner of a Malaysia based dance school has misbehaved with her. The manager named Alageshan has revealed that Amala Paul’s manager Pradeep helped to meet the actress. The manager Pradeep has been telling that he has never seen the dance school owner and Amala Paul is also supporting the manager.

Amala Paul has opened up about the issue that media is reporting her manager in a poor light and asked everyone not to do that. She also clarified that her manager is a good person and she clarified that she is staying silent because the case is in the court.

Vishal, the president of Nadigar Sangam, appreciated Amala Paul for openly coming up and filing a complaint under sexual harassment.

Amala Paul was arrested in a tax evasion case for allegedly buying a luxury car in Pondicherry by producing forged documents. However, she was immediately released on conditional bail, but she must co-operate for the investigation when summoned.

Earlier, Amala Paul claimed that she has property in Pondicherry and bought the car only by following the legal procedures. But in the investigation, crime branch found that the documents furnished by Amala were forged. Previously, two Malayalam actors Fahad Faasil and Suresh Gopi were also booked under similar tax evasion charges.
