Taking it to social networking site, Alia Bhatt just got pretty elated and her tweet just shows how much the youngie fashionista cant contain her excitement levels. Her post read, “Today is day 1 of #Shaandaar !!!! Wish me luckkkkkk :D start of a new beautiful journey!!! Wohooooo @shahidkapoor @FuhSePhantom @karanjohar”.

Alia Bhatt has been on a hit-spree and all her projects are working too well at the Box Office and also she is being highly appreciated for her acting potential. While Alia seems excited to be a part of it, we really hope Shasha feels the same, who is otherwise too busy promoting his next, ‘Haider’.

When quizzed upon which subject he would like to make a short film, Ranbir chose to reply that he would love to make a short film about his Grandfather Raj Kapoor. This single tweet from the director-producer had three important announcements punched into one single tweet. Firstly, giving out the details about the director, who is Ayan Mukherji. Secondly, the lead pair is Ranbir and Alia. And thirdly, the commencement of shoot and release date.

Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan were in Ahmedabad to promote their upcoming film, “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania“.

A source close to the actors said, “Alia and Varun were on their way to the airport from their hotel. it is at this time that a car from behind rammed into their luxury sedan. Fortunately, no one got injured. The stars got out of the car as soon as the rear car hit them. The car belonged to JN Parmar, Assistant commissioner of Police (G Division, Ahmedabad). The rear windscreen was completely smashed and a few shards even landed on the backseat. Varun and Alia jumped out, visibly shaken but unhurt.”

When contacted by a prominent media house, Varun said, “Yes. Alia and me were in the yellow Audi whose rear glass was completely shattered. It was very scary.”

Well, it’s comforting to know tht no one was injured in the accident.

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt came to Hyderabad yesterday for the promotion of her upcoming film “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania” along with her co-star Varun Dhawan. Media people asked her to talk in Telugu and gave a word “Dabidi Dibide”, which was a famous dialogue from NBK’s Simha movie. Alia Bhatt imitated Nandamuri Balakrishna by uttering the dialogue “Dabidi Dibide” and later she asked the meaning of it. Hero Varun Dhawan also joined with her by saying “Ra Ra Ra Ra”..

Well, now Alia is taking the inspiration to another level in “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania”, by doing a dance sequence in the song “Lucky Tu”, using a chair as a prop, much like Bollywood divas Madhuri Dixit, Raveena Tandon and Katrina Kaif.

She was ecstatic at the prospect of doing this number and had put in long hours of practice to get the act right. Alia has taken Katrina’s impeccable moves in Kamli to the next level in the song.”

Talking about Alia’s recent Internet memes Varun says, “I give her full marks for having the ability to laugh it off. A celebrity has to rise above criticism. Actors my age are just learning to be immune to controversies but Alia has already mastered it.”

Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan recently visited the sets of the dance reality show “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa” to promote their film “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania“.

The news which made headlines was the fact that she ignored Ranvir Shorey on the show.

Ranvir Shorey is hosting “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa” along with Drashti Dhami.

According to a report by a prominent media house, Alia ignored Ranvir on the sets of the reality show. Ranvir is Alia’s half-sister Pooja Bhatt‘s former flame and after they parted ways, no member of the Bhatt family has ever contacted Ranvir or has had any ties with him.

The report further stated that while Alia was enjoying herself on the sets, off the camera she ensured that she ignored Ranvir completely.

In fact, Ranvir as a part of his job went ahead and asked her a couple of questions. However, Alia chose to answer without maintaining any eye contact with Ranvir.

Earlier, it was reported that, Nagarjuna, happy with the way “Manam” was executed, had signed on Vikram Kumar again to direct his son’s debut film. However, those were later stated to be mere rumours and that buzz eventually fizzled out.

If latest reports are to be believed, then Akhil Akkineni will be making his debut opposite the most desirable woman in the country, Alia Bhatt.

Yes, that’s right! Ali Bhatt has been reportedly approached to play the lead opposite Akhil in his debut film.

A source close to the actor says,” Yes. Alia’s name is definitely being considered for the film. But it is too early to confirm anything. The film’s theme and the crew that will be working on it, hasn’t been finalised either.”

Meanwhile, Akhil is riding high on the praises showered on him by Super star Mahesh Babu. Well, frankly speaking, Akhil does have it in him to make it big in Tollywood!

It would be interesting though to see the young duo of Akhil and Alia together on screen.

Yes, That’s right!

There is a Pakistani Twist to the Varun-Alia romance.

Karan Johar has bought the rights of a hit Pakistani number and has got Arijit Singh to rework it.

The music of their last outing together, ‘Student of the year’, made it to the list of chartbusters and Karan Johar is leaving no stone unturned to ensure a similar fate for the music of his upcoming film, ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’.

A prominent media house reported that Karan has bought the rights of the hit Pakistani number, ‘Main Tenu Samjhawan Ki’, which was originally sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

However, KJo has roped in Arijit Singh, who has delivered hits after hits like ‘Tum Hi Ho’, Phir Le Aaya Dil’ and the more recent ‘Muskurane Ki Wajah Tum Ho’, to rework the track.

A source from Dharma Productions reveals, “Karan has closely monitored the music of the film. He sat through almost every recording. Mein Tenu Samjhawan Ki is a soulful romantic song and comes at a very crucial point in the film. In fact, Karan has also been instrumental in the styling of the song.” Asked why Arijit was chosen to redo a Rahat original, the source said that Karan was extremely pleased by his work in the Mast Magan song from 2 States and felt he would be the right choice.

When Karan Johar was contacted by the media house, he did not respond.

Well, here’s hoping that with such a stellar crew working on the project, the outcome is worth the wait!

Viewers got a little more than they had bargained for at the trailer launch.

The event started off with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan revealing the trailer of their upcoming film.

The trailer has Varun and Alia sharing great on-screen chemistry.

The poster of the movie shows Alia picking up Varun. The duo probably wanted to recreate this,albeit the other way round , at the live event and that’s where they got it wrong.

Varun Dhawan, caught up in the moment and his character from the film, decided to pick Alia Bhatt up in his arms. Unfortunately, for Alia, the bottom of her ensemble was sheer giving those present an eyeful of her innerwear.

Alia didn’t realize anything was amiss up until the photos from the event started to circulate. She is reportedly quite miffed with co-star Varun Dhawan and has told him to curb his enthusiasm.

However, we must admit that the couple looked fantastic together.

Only time will tell if their chemistry is able to attract the audiences to the theatres.

The duo was last seen together in their debut film, ‘Student Of The Year!’

Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania trailer released recently.

The actors had earlier starred in super-successful debut together, ‘Student of the year’.

The trailer starts off with the muscled Punjabi lad, Humpty dreaming about feisty Kavya with ‘Mud mud ke na dekh’ playing in the background. This scene is hilarious in itself.
